First time staying near the tower with family and was delighted with the location - great for bus (15 to Oxford St) to west end or tube station for elsewhere. Great service at reception, buffet breakfast was good too but there were four of us (2A2C) and we were struggling to put our bags on the floor once the double... More

We arrived at the hotel after check-in time only to be told we had already checked in. When I told them we hadn't they realized that another family had checked in and they gave them our 2 adjoining rooms. Which upsest me, since they didn't check identification. They would have known it wasnt us. Now, to be fair they said... More

The hotel appeared very modern and welcoming. The location was perfect for any tourist visiting London. It felt very safe and secure, with security features such as requiring a key card to activate the lift. Highly recommended! Only around the corner from the underground.

Wonderful location, steps from the tower and within one block of two separate undergoruns lines. Rooms were clean and new and quiet. We checked in before our room was ready after an overnight flight from the US. The staff gave us passes to the leisure center so we could shower and change, then secured our luggage so we could visit... More

This hotel is excellent : location, staff, cleanliness, restaurant and look of the lobby. One hotel feature is unacceptable in a hotel which cost me the equivalent of 250 and 300 USD a night : there is NO air conditioning- Only "air-cooling". And London was so hot in these days that we couldn't really sleep well under those circumstances. Excellent... More

My husband and I stayed here for a night when traveling into London for the weekend. The hotel looks brand new and is very clean and modern. Just returned from a fantastic weekend in London staying at the Novotel Tower Bridge and couldn't fault any of it. Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
