First hotel of this type that I've stayed at, so comparisons are tough but no complaints. Friendly staff. Attached restaurant has above average continental breakfasts, but competition for neighborhood restaurants is stiff for other times. Easy access to museums. Would consider for follow-up visit.

This is my 10th time staying at the London Lodge. Staff (almost no turnover) is very obliging and helpful. I have only ever stayed in rooms facing the back - and those are all quiet. Breakfast is served in a pleasant room and is more than sufficient. Lobby is small but very pleasant. The hotel is situated 6 minutes from...

This cozy hotel with a stately look outside is very recommendable. The staff is very kind and helpful. It is situated in a quiet street not far from Earl's Court Road and its station. Room is very neat and clean. Hardly any disturbing noise from outside.

London Lodge Hotel manager (I think named Teo) was amazing and very accommodating. We had booked through a 3rd party site, Hotels.com, and accidentally messed up the check-in dates for the FOLLOWING week. When we showed up, they informed us of this and we were exhausted. We had been traveling all through the night from the USA, gone from train...

I booked the Executive room for 3 nights after travelling through Europe. The executive room was the only one available, the price was decent, and the other rooms looked like shoeboxes in size so I went with it. Pros 1. The location is great, walking distance to Earls Court metro train station 2. The size of the executive room is...

Great hotel in a nice quiet area but still close to the metro station. Room (executive) and bathroom are clean and spacious. All employees are welcoming and friendly. London Lodge Hotel presents a good value for money. We will be happy to come again.

I highly recommend London Lodge Hotel. The room (executive room) is large enough compared to London Hotels. The bathroom is very nice also. You can reach to Picadilly line and District Line metro station in 10 minutes walk maximum. The Hotel is very close to shops and restaurants however it is on a very quite street. Breakfast is very good...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
