It is a horrible hotel. a weird smell in the hotel, the lift is only fit for two person without luggage. you can't use lift in peak hours. No ventilation inside the room. Very small bathroom, no insufficient water pressure for bath as well as flushing. Totally bad overall.

My husband and I booked this place at last minute and they were available straight away for us to book in which was very helpful. Getting our luggage up was quite difficult as the lift was tiny. The room was ok but old and musty smelling and incredibly hot. We found a switch that we think might have been for...

After checking in and entering the bedroom, I checked straight out again and asked for a full refund, consequently I had to find another hotel. The room had a stench of damp, the walls were falling apart from the mould, their was rust on the mirror and the state of the carpet was disgusting. The room is not fit for...

The lift is good for 2 person with no luggage. The hallway is extremely narrow and dark. Went up and down the stairs. The room is tiny and cramped. Showers are useless. Checked in for 5 minutes and utterly regret my decision. Please do not stay here. Ever! And I am a Malaysian.

Dear HogSwinePig, Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry your experience with us was not as positive as that of others. While it is true that our lift takes no more than two people at a time, our luggage porters are always happy to carry guests luggage up the stairs upon arrival. They also help our guests find their...

This hotel looks nice from the outside and is in a good location, however the room, 4th floor, was tiny and like a sauna, the window didn't open properly and when I asked for a fan as I was heading out they said no problem. Came back late at night, no fan, and the walls are paper thin I had...

The location, transport links and friendly staff make this no-frills hotel a good choice for a short stay. Room itself was basic but clean. The basic buffet breakfast included eggs, tomato, hashbrowns and beans. Sign in bathroom said the water was not drinkable so bought a 2 litre bottle for morning and evening Tea. Electric kettle, cups and standard coffe...

We needed a low cost 'sleep only' hotel in London and this was perfect. You don't get extra frills but we didn't expect them, the room was perfectly adequate, shower was great (powerful) and it was all clean. The only gripe was that the TV was awful, only a few channels were available and the picture was poor on all...

I stayed at the hotel on business. With its close location to Paddington and the nearby tube station (Bayswater) just a street away this was perfect. The photos looked good and seemed to have everything I wanted. Rooms looked clean and well presented etc. My room was tiny with a very strange layout. The room was tired with damp in...

I have often seen / walked past this hotel as I stay in the area a lot, and externally it is quite smart. The foyer is quite impressive it had a lot of money spent at one time, the 'relaxing' areas on the ground floor are quite smart too, quality stuff but we'll see if it gets replaced like for...

We stayed in a deluxe room, which when we booked it was only marginally more expensive than a standard so we treated ourselves. Very clean room, spacious and a nice bathroom. Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
