When booking online, one thing to remember: Never Ever trust the ratings you see or reviews you read.November 2016. Rundown hotel, tornout carpeting, peeling painting in the rooms. Room 402 is a real hellhole. Mildew on shower curtains, cracked tiling, broken and rusted plumbing. Very noisy place, out of service bar. The only positive thing: it is only one block...

Myself and my girlfriend stayed here on a last minute trip to London, the staff were friendly and welcoming. We booked a deluxe double room and were not disappointed! The room itself was spacious and modern with a proper double bed!! Location wise this hotel was amazing right next to the tube! Would definitely stay again!

It took me a long time to choose a hotel that was both conveniently located and offered a good standard of customer service. Before booking I made sure to call and enquire and when I did I received great service. When I arrived and throughout the duration of my stay each and every staff member was extremely helpful. The room...

Terrible place, dingy corridors, smelly carpets...took tiny lift to room and when I saw bed with broken frame, soiled spread, no heating and smoke smell, I went to reception and told girl I would go somewhere else! Paid £30 more down the road and what a difference. Don't stay here, you will regret it.

We arrived at the hotel receptionists quite friendly (could have made us more welcome though). We went up to our room in the lift (as we were on forth floor). Tip - don't use the lift if you have a fear of small spaces it literally fits two people and a small case in though this wasn't a problem for...

Arrived at the hotel to very pleasant reception staff. Very conveniently located close to Bayswater tube station however the hotel itself is disappointing. The room was very small, hard to manoeuvre with 2 people in there. No electricity sockets worked other than the socket for the TV so unable to charge phones/use hair straighteners without unplugging the TV. The bathroom...

Read the reviews but decided to give the hotel a chance. Staff were pleasant and helpful but the state of the room was appalling. I had to leave after I found a dead cockroach in the bathroom as this is completely unacceptable especially as the hotel rates itself as 3 star but the staff on reception were nice I have...

Nearby to Bayswater tube station and very convenient located at Hyde Park. The hotel is clean a bit small but just enough stayed at the Deluxe queen. Equipped with coffee and tea facilities. The staff is very helpful. Easily to find Halal food nearby.

Myself and my boyfriend stayed here for 4 nights 13-17th November. We arrived at the bayswater underground station and could immediately see the hotel so we were thrilled at how close we were! When we went in the lobby was clean nicely decorated and we were greeted by a friendly receptionist who promptly checked us in. The hallways were narrow...

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
