Great little hotel the staff were polite and helpful and on hand 24/7. We were on 4th floor and it was a hike up them the elevator was a little tight for us as we are more portly. However for the price of 170 for a two night stay this was good value for money. The tube is three mins...

We booked this place seeing that it was in Notting Hill (One of our favourite places) and that it was a 'hotel' as stated in the name. Unfortunately, it was not worth the low price that we paid. The staff were very friendly but the rooms are in a very poor condition. Worst of all was the bathroom which had...

I booked this hotel because of the price and the location and am happy with both. The room was fine. However, I was not able to take a shower for the three days I was there nor get much sleep. Upon arrival I was shown to a room that had not been cleaned but immediately given a new room. The...

The room had been recently decorated and was clean and functional. It is conveniently located and within easy reach of the tube and various London attractions including Portobello Market. This hotel would suit tourists who need a safe and convenient area to stay in.

The Nottingham Hill Hotel is old and worn in a nice neighborhood. It was clean. Price was $124. Room had two twin beds. The heating was on and too warm, so I had to open the window. The rather small TV with not the best quality.

Dear WorldTravlerMonaco, We are glad you found the hotel to be clean and in a nice neighborhood. We have an on-going plan of renovation for the hotel, but the building is of heritage status so we are limited as to what we can modernise. We note your complaint about the room being too hot, however; your room has a thermostat...

All the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Great location only a five minute walk from the underground. Shops around and Tesco express and Boots for last minute buys. Gorgeous room with lovely view to the park. Will definitely stay again when next in London.

great location and very good price. Old and not clean. Steep stairs, but there is an old functioning lift. staff was very friendly. Wifi was hard to get on to but eventually worked. No breakfast available. Room was basic but alright. Very old building and little maintenance. Low budget feel but acceptable.

We called the hotel direct, spoke to Kerri, nicest young lady you will ever see, just could not do enough for us. We arrived early and the room was not ready, they made us very comfortable for a few minutes until it was ready. The room was small by American Standards, but the bed put me to sleep just looking...

Don't know why this hotel is getting bad reviews. It may not be state of the art but it's a lovely hotel, the staff are friendly and very helpful. It's a minutes walk to the tube and cafes, shops and restaurants. Portabello market just right around the corner. 5 minutes walk to Hyde Park and Kensington Palace. The cost was...

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
