Although I suspect that this hotel has got good rooms this is the second time I have stayed here and both times I was allocated what can only be described as a broom cupboard which is accessed at the side of the lifts. I went o sleep listening to the constant chorus of "doors opening - lift going down" every... More

After an initial problem with the plumbing in our original room we were up-graded,the Management couldn't have done more for us if they tried. I took my wife there for a theatre break weekend for her 40th Birthday and upon arrival found chocolates and a Birthday card (nice touch) I would have no hesitation in going again.

The Corus hotel provided a nice little base for me and my partner while we visited London. Hyde Park was just across the road for a scenic route into the city or the tube was a few doors down. A great hotel in all although we can't comment on breakfast as we opted for room only. The one negative however... More

A group of 4 of us stayed here as part of a superbreak package we got, which included a show, train travel and a one night stay. I wasn't expecting much to be honest but was really pleasantly surprised! The hotel is clean and well presented, in a great location for Hyde Park (about a 20 min walk from the... More

Booked this hotel on one of those secret hotels, was a little worried once we discovered what hotel we were staying as as the reviews were not great. Hotel easy to find from the tube station, on arrival first impressions were good, lovely bar, sitting area with a piano being played, went up to room and opened door and bed... More

Stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel location is great--one block from the tube, and across the street from Hyde Park. Staff was friendly, rooms small but clean, and breakfast was good. I am gluten-free, and appreciated that they had a list of what was gluten-free, including the option to order GF toast or cereal. Would definitely stay here again.

I stayed one night while attending a conference. The room was small double: bed was against the wall on one side and the bathroom could literally just fit shower, toilet and sink in it). The room had everything I needed and was comfortable enough although the walls were a bit thin and my colleague's neighbour woke her up very early... More

Stayed one night whilst at a concert in Hyde Park. Room was very small, but had all we needed, nice wet room and comfortable bed. Breakfast was buffet style, nothing special, but nice. Perfect location for sightseeing, shopping and Hyde Park. 24 hour parking payable nearby.

We stayed at the Corus on a short city break over the 23rd - 25th Nov 2016. The Corus is a busy, well run and well located mid-sized Central London Hotel, that is very convenient for all the main Central London facilities and attractions, being situated on the northern edge of Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park and having the Lancaster Gate Underground... Stayed here for two nights on a centrally negotiated room rate, so price was fine. The public areas are well appointed and well kept, but the room was a little disappointing as it was small and basic. I accept that there may have been more expensive bigger rooms, but I expected a bigger room with at least one easy chair.... More
