Ideal location for our first family visit to London. Our room was spacious with a great view of Big Ben. The bathrooms had beautiful tile work with a stand alone shower We were given a roll away bed for our daughter and were not charged for it. We were able to walk to many attractions within minutes and tube stations...

The rooms have been recently renovated and are amazing, they did a really wonderful job of not taking the charm away from the building with all the updates they made. The staff was very kind and we loved having so many important tourist points right outside the hotel. A must stay!

The building is very nice, the staff terribly friendly and the location is amazing!! We had dinner in the restaurant which as excellent meat and very good wine for a decent price. I definitely recommend it. The waiters were smiling and had a good sense of humor.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Marriott County hall last weekend and I must say it's the best hotel we've stayed in London and let's just say we've stayed in a few!! Location, staff, cleanliness and facilities where first class. The staff made our visit extra special and they couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely be back.

The hotel is centrally located walking distance to many attractions (Big Ben, London Eye) and on the Thames River off Westminster Bridge. We loved walking over the bridge at the end of the day to people watch. It an older and charming hotel with modern amenities and elegance. We loved our room; decent size and clean.

Staying in Southbank

Neighbourhood Profile
Southbank
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
