Had a good stay at the Lancaster Gate hotel. Room was always very clean, and offered fresh towels, sheets and hairdryer & tea facilities. The hotel is situated in a perfect location in the city near the tube station. Only bad experience we had with the hotel was the customer service from reception staff. We found them very unhelpful and...

For the price paid, the hotel offered good value for money. Yes the rooms are small, and the bathrooms could do with a bit of updating but I would suggest anyone staying in London is there to be out and about, not sitting in their room. Service was polite and attentive.

Went to Lancaster gate hotel with my younger son. Great location, close to the subway, wich take you in to Oxford street in no time. The room is small and noisy due to thin walls, nice beds though. Skip the breakfast, not worth the money and have a lovely breakfast out instead. Wi-fi didnt work perfectly , and its not...

Another strategically located hotel. Close to tube stations and Paddington Train Station. Very convenient if you are traveling to Heathrow via Heathrow Express. It is also a very short distance to the Hyde Park in case you need a morning walk whilst traveling or even just to chill. Check in was speedy with very helpful and informative staff. Good size...

A good hotel .. Nice staff and hospitable . The room and bathroom were clean and wide enough for a couple with good enough furniture. Location is excellent 2 mins to Lancaster gate tube station- was closed at time we were there- next close station is queen's way only 6 mins walk. We didn't use any of the hotel facilities...

I stayed for my partners birthday. Check-In was brilliant, staff lovely and it was quick. At first sight the room was very nice. It was clean and tidy, if the decoration was a bit grubby. However, when looking a bit closer the cracks began to show. The shower head was broken and has lots of limescale on it. The bathroom...

We had a twin room in the basement. Spotless clean and had everything you would normally find. Bathroom good as well. Very quiet street. Breakfast good Would definitely stay there again, but not in the basement as you can here the rumble of the trains in the underground.

As London hotels go this is excellent value for money and also in an excellent location. Lancaster Gate tube station is closed for several months but it's a similar walk to Queensway, also on the Central line.

Our room was in the basement. We could hear everything said next door, the showers in the next room woke us up it was so loud. The hotel itself was quality, good breakfast and clean communal areas. Would try and get a non-basement room next time
