Excellent location.Rooms adequate for purpose. Double bed is a small double not regular double. Mattress was poor. Needed to sleep on the edge to get some firmness. Also please put at least 6-8 tea bags and milk in Room.2 is just stingy!

My family spent Christmas week at the Lancaster Gate Hotel. It was everything we expected for the great price. The breakfast choices were very good, and the staff were very friendly and hard working.( it was very crowded this week) We found the location to be close enough to two tube stations and surrounded by many other restaurants and pubs. We...

Really great location, nice staff, loads of amenities. I would have given this a 4 star but giving a 3 star as the room and corridor stunk to high heaven of cigarettes. If I had known there were smoking rooms I'd have asked for non smoking. Unfortunately we got a room that smelt like the maid had been chomping on...

The room allocated was way too small for 2 average size adults. We had no privacy and kept bumping in to each other it would have been okay for a single traveller. It was clean a bit worn out but was just too small. The breakfast is always first class which you could not fault and the staff are attentive...

Enjoyed our stay. Hotel is conveniently located near a tube (although traveling through London is easy). Staff friendly and resourceful, yet appeared busy. Rooms where clean and on site restaurant was delightful. The only downfall was the random multiple stairs to the room we were inconvenient for my elderly mother. Other than that...great find

The location of this hotel is in a quiet street very near Hyde Park. If you want to stay in this area of London it is very convenient with Lancaster Gate, Bayswater or Queensway tube stations all within easy walking distance and several bus routes on the main road nearby. We stayed in a fifth-floor room at the back of...

We are currently visiting London to visit family for Christmas. We have been to London many times and stayed in this area before. I chose the Lancaster gate hotel for its convenient location. It is close to Lancaster gate tube (which will be closed from 4/1/17 to July 2017 for an upgrade) and Queensway tube station. We are here for...
