We stayed for 6 nights at the hotel in the last week of April. This was our return stay at the hotel which we had stayed many times before under the name of Holiday Inn but has been upgraded to Crown Plaza a few years ago. We returned to this hotel not only for the clean and nice room (especially...

We stayed for three nights and thought this hotel was very good value. The staff was very professional and helpful and it was easy to store your bags before check-in time. We got really good tips from the concierge on where to go with our kids, even down to the best playground in the area.

My decision to stay at this hotel was the need to be close to the Royal Albert Hall. i was also expecting an expensive closet sized room. I was pleasantly surprised that the room had two queen sized beds in a very reasonably sized room. The table was small but it did have two chairs in a bay window overlooking...

Dear Twytz Thank you for the feedback on your recent stay. I am glad that you appreciated our rooms which are larger than average for London hotels. Also, with triple glazing, even the front facing rooms are quiet and undisturbed by traffic. Although we have no parking on site, there is an underground car park just accross the road which...

Rooms are nice and big, king size beds, all very comfortable. Free internet is great. Location is OK. Breakfast could have more seats. There was a waiting line to be seated. I thought this was a big down-turn. Staff was very helpful and eager to serve.

Dear Roberto_MJ Thank you for your feedback, I am glad you liked our good sized rooms and king size beds. I'm so sorry that you had to wait for a table at breakfast - that can sometimes happen during school holiday times when alot of guests choose to come down about the same time for breakfast. The rooms are lovely and much bigger than the normal shoe boxes you get in London. Staff were very helpful and welcoming and the location is fantastic. Across the road from Gloucester station and lots of restaurants and a waitrose. Gloucester station connects really well to most tube lines. I would definitely stay again

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
