Unfortunately I won free wifi which was litle use to me as I had no laptop or mobile device with me but a nice gesture. The very first thing I liked about the hotel is that it's next to Gloucester Road station on Piccadilly line! And, why is that important? Because, you can take a direct underground tube from Heathrow airport! About 40 minutes, that's it! Our double bed room was comfy. The Bathroom, not very big, had all the tit bits you need. Wi-fi...

Dear Ibnbatutaa Thank you for your review, I am delighted to read that you would highly recommend us. Our breakfast is a buffet breakfast with a range of hot and cold items from which you can choose as much or as little as you wish making it great value,as the cafes in the neighbourhood charge for a plated English breakfast...

We strongly suggest this hotel as an ideal starting point for exploring London and it’s perfect if you travel with children. The hotel is in a great position, directly in front of the Glouchester Road underground station (Piccadilly Line) and in a very pleasant area with a lot of shops, restaurants, pharmacy and also a market. You can reach the...

The price of London hotels is so expensive. I was hoping to get a nicer room for the money. Rooms and bathroom were small. Room was a bit tired looking. The beds were comfortable and my goal was to find a room with two queen or double beds , which is hard to do in Europe. The location was good,...

Dear Deluxe Traveller Thank you for your feedback. I am pleased that we were able to give you exactly what you were looking for, i.e. a room with two double beds - we have a lot of these , as our rooms are larger than average for a London hotel and so have the space to have 2 double beds...

Spent just one night in this hotel, but it offered us exactly what we needed. Arrived quite late, so the fact that the oriental restaurant was just downstairs was great. Dear Moykky I am so pleased that you and your family enjoyed your stay with us and that you liked Umami, our Asian fusion restaurant. Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.

“My only criticism, there was no socket for the kettle in the area where the in room tea/coffee area situated. And the flex wasnt long enough for the kettle to sit on a table and reach the socket. Fine for me, I put it on the floor. Maybe a danger if young children in the room”
