Just wow. I'm in my thirties now, and the posh afternoon tea has become the go to 'thing to do' with the girls for any birthday or special occasion. But my very lovely friend took me to Tarturo in 11 Cadogen Gardens, Chelsea for Alexis Gautier's Winter Flowers afternoon tea, and it blew my tiny mind. Personally, I'd never heard...

We stayed there for 4 nights and indeed their greatest hit is their rooms. They are wonderfully decorated, wonderful amenities in the bathrooms and price quality is absolutely top. Only their common areas are not that great, but who needs that anyway in london. Staff is very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and can only recommend it to everybody...

We love this hotel. We stayed here three times and each time it made our visit to London extra special. The hotel exudes English charm and gentility and the staff is so gracious and helpful. The rooms each have their own personality, are a good size and equipped with modern amenities. The location is wonderful -- close to Sloane Square...

This is a very comfortable hotel at a reasonable price considering it is Knightsbridge, London. We stayed in a deluxe room which was adequately sized and very well furnished. The ensuing facilities were great. The staff were very professional ,as expected, but also very friendly. Though upmarket it was also quite casual which I liked. It would be suitable for...

Halfway through my most recent stay I decided I had enough material for this update... The "renovations" are quite in keeping with the original motif and era, and so are not to be confused with an updating, per se. This said, they are still not complete (!) so mine was an original room. Service, as usual, was gracious and attentive,...

We stayed here back in February. It is a lovely hotel with lots of quaint and original features. It's also in a great location. The room we stayed in was lovely but in the need of a little tlc. The hotel was under renovation so we can't to head back and see the updates. Definitely worth a stay for anyone...

Our third visit to the No. 11 Cadogan Gardens with our four years old daughter who was sick. Stayed a week for leisure. It was perfect location and stylish boutique hotel full of history which makes it somehow mysterious and exclusive. Mostly enjoyed the positive energy and great spirit of their staff; especially Kevin who brightened up our mornings at...

We have stayed here lots of times. In fact every return trip from dubai we head to what has been our favourite hotel in London. It's small, but rooms are large and each one is different which is refreshing. The concierge are normally excellent, but on the last visit front desk were dreadful. To be fair the FD manager did...

First time to 11 Cadogan Gardens on Tuesday for a quick visit to London. Picked it by location, really handy for all the west end, and saw it advertised in a magazine promoting Sloane Street. Disappointed by the first impression, as they still have scaffolding outside after a year, so this does detract from the property! Staff really friendly and...

Staying in Chelsea

Neighbourhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
