This is a typical old fashioned traditional hotel. Lovely large sofas to lounge around in having a coffee or drink, massive restaurant and its own gym pool and spa area. The rooms need a bit of tlc but they are old. It is very handy for the DLR and tube, with 2 stations only 4 mins away. Lovely food, pricey...

I stayed in this hotel on a 3 day break with National Holidays in March 2014. I came back on a 4 day trip last weekend and needed to tell more people about this place! Their best kept secret is its location - a footbridge takes you into corporate Canary Wharf and the Jubilee Line and Docklands Light Railway stations...

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights from 7th-9th Sept. We paid £157 for 2 nights, which we felt was excellent value for money. We were expecting the hotel to look a little dated, which it did, but it was clean and we couldn't fault the service of any employee. We used the pool which was nice and quiet,...

Reasonably priced for london at £79, however, this hotel was probably a very glamorous hotel a good while back but has clearly not been touched since the 80's. Friendly staff, but the beds in the twin room were the thinnest I've seen yet. The hotel pool/spa had rust all over the windows, the hot tub was cold and the changing...

value for money stay with a convenient location. The hotel is definitely in need of a solid renovation project however would stay again if need to stay in the area. booked larger room however the bed was still a small double and the bathroom needed some cleaning and maintenance.

If you search, you can find deals for this hotel way cheaper than any other in the same area.Yes it is dated, but still has charm and you can see once,it had oldie worldy elegance. I'm not put off by this. The staff are always polite, and the rooms are a good size. Super clean bathrooms, and crisp white clean...

This was booked for me for a last minute business trip in London...when I recieved the confirmation I was surprised how cheap the room was given the location. On arrival the hotel is very dated and a bit depressing but the room was large for London. Even allowing for the low price, I was glad I was only staying for...

Let's begin with the good points. I stayed here for 12 nights and everyday my room was cleaned . I locked the doors because even on weekends the maids tried to come in at 8 am! So lock the doors if you want to sleep in . When you order room service just know there is a £5 charge for...

Chose this hotel for one night stay on a Friday night to attend a nearby wedding reception. I got a single room for a very reasonable rate but on arrival a lovely receptionist upgraded me to a double room with a lovely view over a dock towards the O2 building. Well appointed room within a spacious hotel and a special...

My wife and I visited London with two other female members of our family, and since the visit was to several European countries I preferred to take a tour with a well known tour operator. We arrived from the American continent early in the morning, and we were told by the receptionist that we would receive information until the tour...
