This stay was very nice and I would definitely come back again, great service for a good price. Room service was very kind and I was pleased with the cleanliness and atmosphere of the room. Surrounding area was very calm and many restaurants round the corner.

We were pleasantly surprised by the room, amenities and service at this very reasonably priced hotel in the heart of West London. Great location and great value. Easily accessbile, plenty of good restaurants nearby, just down the road from Kensington Gardens. Rooms were clean, not too pokey and functional. Heating system is a little noisy and the beds a little...

I recently stayed at this hotel for five nights during a stopover in London. The hotel is located within a five minute walk of Bayswater and Queensway Tube stations and a short taxi ride from Paddington Station if you're coming in from Heathrow Airport. Check in was relatively smooth. I was upgraded to a larger room which was a blessing...

Terrible service at reception. The staff try but the facility is crap. No internet in the rooms. You have to come down to reception. But the worst: the bed is old, crumpy, uncomfortable and feels like it was bought an auction and has been used for the past 20years. Not worth the money or star rating. Stay away.

So the husband and I were in London to go and see McFly. We were only staying one night and wouldn't be at the hotel very long so weren't looking for anything but a bed for the night. Luckily really considering the experience we had! Upon entering the hotel it looked modern, fresh, clean. However we were given a room...

Wasn't looking forward to this after reading some reviews. Yea the corridors were grubby, you spend very little time there so no worries. Yes a lift was out of order. Maybe forced you to walk twenty yards maximum further. Big deal. Room was clean, bed comfortable and air conditioned. And bathroom was recently refurbished Was rather hot during my stay...

To be honest I never got as far as staying in this hotel. When we arrived we were told our room had been flooded and we were to be re located to the Hyde Park EXECUTIVE Appts. A Taxi took us to the Hyde park Executive apartment's, when I arrived their interpretation of executive and mine clearly differ. The room...

Our room was in dire need of renovation, it can't have been touched since the 1950s.. It was clean but there were holes in the sheets and mold & rust in the bathroom. The reception area is deceptive as this and the breakfast area have been modernised. One of the 2 lifts was out of order making for long waits,...

We found this hotel to be really good value for money. We stayed in room 327 (upper floor) and it had been renovated - air conditioning, ensuite with shower, Freeview TV, kettle in room with hot drink supplies. The staff seemed okay. They were not overly attentive or polite but this did not have a huge impact on our stay....

Hotel is not a 3 star hotel in any way. The management attitude is a room is a room even if the room is dirty, without a TV, and bathroom is dirty. I employee requested a room with a TV, their response was hostile. The new room was just as untidy but at least bearable for a few hours. The...

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
