We had stayed already stayed one night in London in a rented property where unfortunately the bed was of a poor quality. We arrived at the front desk of the hotel to ask if rooms were available & explained how my husband's back was causing him problems. The receptionist and porter were great, they offered to arrange for a board...

Dear Anna H Thank you for reviewing The Rembrandt following your recent three night stay. I am delighted that upon arrival the team were extremely helpful and offered and provided a bed-board, to help with your husband's bad back. I am pleased that we provided comfortable Executive accommodation with a bed that you describe as "bliss", plus a great buffet...

Front of house friendly . The restaurant is open and pleasant. The waiting staff are very rude, trying to collect plates from your table, when all the guests have not finished. This felt uncomfortable. Even when told, a waitress again tried to clear the table when someone was still eating. Far to eager to finish service..... food was ok... a...

Excellent Hotel, Some modern, some british Style, fine Breakfast - really enjoyed our stay. Pricing is reasonalble - at least for London and the fine Location just opposite the V&A-Museum and in walking distance from the picadilly line.

This was our 2nd trip to the Rembrandt and our 2nd trip to the Royal Albert Hall for a concert. The hotel is only about a 15 minute walk away from the Royal Albert hall and opposite the V and A , Natural history and science museums. It is a perfect place to base yourself and close to south Kensington...

We booked afternoon tea for 4. We were placed (in a virtually empty room) bang next to a staff meeting area. We had a wheelchair user with us so with some fuss moved away from the now screened off area (but the meeting was only inches away). Tea was ok. Bread for the sandwiches a bit dry and the 2...

Dear CaroJane Thank you for reviewing the hotel following you recent visit for Afternoon Tea. It is always disappointing to receive negative feedback and I am sorry that your experience failed to meet our usually high standards. Hotel personnel should always be visible and available to offer additional help and professional service. Afternoon Tea is an important meal and we...

This is my second stay here. The hotel is very pleasant, clean, and well appointed. We had a smaller room this time but it was still adequately sized for two people, with a sweet view to the rear of the hotel, and a nice full size bathroom. Breakfast was included with our price and is comprehensive including eggs cooked on...

Stayed here for 2 nights with best friend in twin executive room overlooking back of houses (gardens) and top storey of V & A. 2 x 3ft wide beds were really comfortable with good linen. Dear fiona57Cambridge Thank you for reviewing The Rembrandt, following your recent two night stay. Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
