This part of the hotel was situated in a quiet street of the main road but close enough to the shops and the underground. I found the staff helpful and friendly when I asked about about a TV remote and breakfast. My only problem was trying to find the actual hotel reception when I reached the street number advertised. There...

I stayed here for 3 nights 4-7 Aug booked with agoda.com . Excellent price of £55 per night in central London for a very nice , spotlessly clean fresh room. I stayed in room 17 a solo single bed room. It had a large balcony which was great as the room had no AC. Yes - the room was small...

I have been there for 5 night, the room was small but clean and clean linen, the breakfast for me was enough, croissant toast muffin and Nescafé and I was ready to visit London... The tube is very close( Bayswater/Queensway ) All staff very nice and helpful ! I will come back

When paying the price we paid, you don't expect to much. Located perfectly in London, close to tube, shopping centers and Notting Hill. We were there with five students and stayed all in the same room. Because you only sleep there, that wasn't a problem for a few nights. Breakfast was simple but enough. When looking for a cheap, but...

One of the cheapest places to stay in central London, and you get what you pay for. Staff were pleasant and helpful, room was small, breakfast minimal, washing facilities ensuite in a plastic cell, all functional with no frills. Bayswater tube easy walking distance. Only complaint is being charged for wifi which is free generally in hotels and restaurants.

The hotel was excellent as my wife is 35 weeks pregnant and provided us a ground floor room on request. This the 3th time we've stayed here. Yes the bathroom is small but it's only a place to sleep and closeness of the tube nottinghill etc far outweigh this.

Was several times there, the area good and quiet and in center, just around the corner Shopping area and tube station very close. The rooms are ok, you get what you pay for And receptionist friendly. I stayed in several hotels and this hotel I like regarding the area.. and will book it once more.

Well, I would say that in my categories, this is not a hotel. I would say, room standard like on the ferry. Plastic toilets/shower. Old furniture, old everthing basically. Small TV, and for the remote controler you need to pay 1pound at the reception. Internet extra paid. Breakfast, well, you need to pick 4 things out of 6 or 7,...

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
