This hotel is somewhat tired, needs painting, the carpets need replacing and some of the kitchen staff need to add a smile to their face.

That being said, we paid £101 for a four bed family room including breakfast so represented good value for money for central London.

The rooms are small, basic, but essentially clean. The laundry seemed clean, although the blankets and towels were well used.

The breakfast is basic, toast and cereals, but is okay, it’s a dining room style layout with shared tables. There was some fruit and yoghurt but they seemed to stop replenishing stuff around 9am

So stayed here for a couple of nights whilst in London. Wanted something that was close to tube as well as other central points. When we got to the hotel we noticed the steps which is not great when you have cases or a disability which I do, whilst I'm fairly able would have been nice to have another access withoutsteps. We were able to check in fairly quickly, you are asked for ID and a card for incidentals. We were given room B02, a room in the basement, lift available. The room was small, with an even smaller bathroom, I'm a petite lady and sitting on the toilet meant I was also hugging the basin it's that close. When booking the room it said rooms are carpeted, ours wasn't it's a tiled floor. There was no wardrobe but a hanging rail. The first night we were freezing, wanted extra bedding, but there's no phone in the room to contact reception, so we left it and put the radiator on the highest setting. The beds were so uncomfortable, and they rolled with the slightest movement. One of the nights I sat leaning against the wall and could feel myself sliding.
The shower was also very small and you couldn't adjust the height of the shower head.
We didn't order breakfast for the price they were charging, we had a look at the selection so
decided to eat at local restaurants, plenty of places for breakfast, we ate at the Dr Power.
The hotel was nothing special, the cleaners left their cleaning product in the shower, mirrors weren't clean, and the shower towel was just picked up off the floor and put back up. Staff were friendly enough and location was perfect. But I won't be staying there again. We used Queensway tube station, it's just round the corner from Bayswater, and neighbourhood seemed safe on the nights. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance of the hotel.

Positive aspects: The area was great, easy to get around with subway all over London. The beds were comfortable and the room (duplex) was just perfect for a family of two adults and two teenagers. Nice reception staff.
Negative aspects: When checking out we found a cell phone under one of the beds, that had been lying there for at least 4 days. This really made us question the cleaning of the rooms. Also, the breakfast was horrible! The food was unfresh: chicken sausages were like rubber, totally impossible to eat, and the mushrooms out of a can. There were croissants and white bread, but nothing to put on it except for cheese and jam. Do not pay 10 pounds per person for this breakfast!

We booked this because it had a triple room which was perfect for our needs.....what we didn't expect was such kind, helpful staff who took time to make us feel welcome. The room was super clean with a fridge and comfy beds, and being on the ground floor we could pop outside our "window" exit to sit outside on the terrace. We decide not to have beakfast, so to make the most of exploring London, but I suspect it was great! We would LOVE to return sometime!!

Mr. Adam and Mr. Bassel .. I would like to start by thanking specially these two names! I gave a nice surprise to my bf thanks to the very professional team. They helped me arrange many things I requested .. I have been in the tourism industry for about 12 years and I love this profession more and more as I see people who love their job in such a professional way. The location of the hotel is very good, walking distance to many places, all necessary equipment is located in the room. The atmosphere is intact by preserving the historical texture, but at the same time, everything is very clean and attentive. They have thought of everything so that you can stay comfortably on your trips for few days. Finally, I would like to thank Mr. Abdul as well, he is very kind and thoughtful. We will choose again for accommodation of our relatives and guests specially thanks to your team member’s interest :)

I booked this hotel for our weekend stay in London for my wife's birthday and it did not disappoint.
Communication from the hotel right from the very point of booking to leaving was excellent. Asked if we could leave our bags there as we would be arriving in London early on the Saturday morning was not an issue at all and communication instant when I emailed the question on booking.
We were greeted by very polite, friendly and professional staff who took our bags for when we returned later.
Hotel was spotlessly clean, room, yes small, but lovely, clean and warm (bearing in mind the freezing temperatures outside was very welcome!) and had tea and coffee facilities too.
Breakfast was included in our room rate and was excellent and again we were greeted with a smile and a welcome. Choices of continental and full English breakfast and was excellent and set us up for the day.
Again, we stored our bags on checkout so we could spend the day in London without baggage, ready to collect later in the day for our journey home.
Ideal location on the edge of Hyde Park, 10 mins max walk to tube stations Bayswater and Queensway and lots of local amenities too.
A fabulous stay and a hotel we will definitely use again. Thank you Pembridge Palace for helping make it a very special weekend.

Six of us stayed here for a girls weekend, we could not believe how nice the hotel was for the price. Beautiful front lobby and private terrace area, comfortable beds and very clean. The staff were wonderful and accommodating, they even let us leave our bags there after we checked out until we left for the airport 6 hours later and gave us all bottles of water for when we left as it was very warm. In addition to all that the hotel is situated in a lovely peaceful area and only a short walk to the nearest underground. We all agreed we would most definitely stay here again.

The hotel is in a nice, quiet location, is very clean and every member of staff was polite and friendly. We booked a deluxe double which was a reasonable size and had views over the leafy square to the rear of the hotel. Breakfast buffet had all the usual offerings and was constantly being replenished with freshly cooked food. Would definitely stay again.

This Hotel is in an Excellent location within walking distance of 2 tube stations & 2 good high streets with shops/bars etc.

Good points:
Clean & tidy
Room refreshed each day + water/tea replenished daily.
Friendly staff
Very comfy Bed
Good shower

Room for improvement:
Only mirror is in bathroom so not ideal when drying hair/doing make up
Only light is main light with one switch at the door. Room would benefit from side lighting

We were lucky enough to have a balcony looking over the gardens. We would have enjoyed sitting on the balcony if there was chairs to do so.

Overall this Hotel is excellent and we would recommend to others.

A nice hotel ideally situated to explore London. Prince's Square is in a quiet residential area with Tube stations Bayswater and Queensway only a few minutes' walk away. Various pubs, supermarkets and restaurants are close by. The hotel itself is kept very clean. The rooms may be a little small (typical of houses of that era), but are spotless and well kept. Complimentary water and biscuits as well as tea-making facilities and a fridge. Fast and reliable Wifi.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, way beyond what you would expect in a hotel of this category.

There were no bugs in my room but it was very old fashioned and the blankets are a bit heavy and odd. If all you want is somewhere to put your head down at night it’s fine. But if you like to hang around a hotel a lot then cancel and get another place.

Hello. It depends on what you are looking for. My daughter and I stayed there last December, and it was a satisfactoy stay. The room was small, but we expected it, considering staying in the heart of London. It was adequately clean (although I cannot say the same about the balcony), warm, quiet, hot water, daily cleaning, a 5-mitute walk from Bayswater tube station, a 10-minute walk from Kensington Gardens and Palace, safe neighbourhood, reception service 24/7. WiFi only worked at lobby, and breakfast was poor. We didn't really mind, as we strolled around London all day, and only returned at the hotel at night. Hope I helped.

Where you board the underground at Heathrow, you can buy an Oyster Card there. I found the Oyster Card the simplest way to get around on the Underground. When you go through the turnstiles, you just have to hold the card to the swipe pad. It will let you know the balance. When you need to add more money, it's easy to do at all Underground stations with a credit card. Most stations have a full-time attendant, who can help with best routes, how to use the card, how to replentish the card, etc. When you leave Heathrow on the trip home, you can turn your Oyster Card in and they will apply the balance to your credit card.

I would like to know how I get from st. pancras station to the hotel
Answer from Bill M
Sooke, British Columbia, Canada11 contributions9 helpful votes
Get on the Circle (yellow) tube line at St. Pancras and go toward Hammersmith. At Edgeware Road station, get off and walk across to the Circle tube line that goes to Bayswater and Nottinghill. Get off at Bayswater. When you leave the Bayswater tube station, turn left, and then turn left again onto Moscow Road. Go along Moscow for about 4 blocks, then turn right onto Ilchester Gardens. Go about 2 blocks along Ilchester and turn left onto Leinster Square. The Pembridge Palace Hotel is about half a block in. Unless you have a lot of luggage, we found the tube to be ok, except during rush hours, when they are very crowded. You will see people with luggage on almost every tube train.
