Beautiful rooms, well maintained property, concierge is/was super helpful (front desk not so much, just perfunctory, not impressed!) Close to shopping, Hyde Park and lots of other things to do. Loved the little "treat" of having the Handy phone, complimentary to each room, gave me the ability to change flights and look things up.

The hotel is in a great location. Convenient to the underground and close to great shopping and good restaurants. The hotel rooms were a nice size and had the softest bath towels! The hotel room provides an American outlet so no need to pack your own. They also provide a device for local calls and internet - very nice when...

Location - very good, walking distance to everything. Bar - cosy Internet is 10! GBP pr day - wow Our room in the 3rd floor had loose tiles on the bathroom walls, and the spot-lights in the bathroom smelled "burnt dust". I told the staff, so they cleaned them. The air condition made some noise, but we just turned it...

Stayed with my family in March - great visit! Our room was large and nicely decorated. The front of house staff was friendly and check in and out was smooth. The lobby is a small place and gets a bit crammed, so at busy times, its slightly chaotic. The lounge was slightly below average, but the gym was actually pretty...

The hotel is strategically located right in front of Hyde park and we are lucky enough to be able to get early check-in to the Junior Suite which is spacious and premium. Special thanks to the executive team, Alejandro for the lovely honeymoon arrangement and advice on the tour around London.

This hotel is in a wonderful location, but it is very standard hotel fare. It feels very generic....not what you would expect given its relatively small size. It's not cheap either, so I really don't get why it feels like a step up from a Holiday Inn. But it is right next to a fabulous shopping district.... Oh, and BTW,...

Checked in the night before via the promoted Mobile Check In.....indicated arrival time of Noon. I understand as was not upset that there was no room available when I arrived.....but even though I used Mobile Check In, I still had to stand in a line to speak to an agent. Once I got through the line, was told they would...

I recently stayed one night at the Marriott Grosvenor Square in London and was impressed by the helpfulness of the staff. I had reserved a room with access to the executive lounge and free breakfast which we enjoyed. The hotel has a great history and had been updated with many modern conveniences. The staff went out of their way to ensure...

Very nice location, 5mins from Oxford street (Selfridges) and you don't feel/hear it. I had a great room looking out on the side street so it was quiet; the hotel has a very nice bar area and a smaller complimentary breakfast room on level -1 (no window though). Very helpful staff in general but at check-in both my colleague and...

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
