The 'double room' was so small there wasn't room to lay down one suitcase let alone two - it was a joke. Uncomfortably warm in the room and this was on a cool October day. Hall carpets badly badly stained. We were charged £10 to be allowed into the room an hour before officislly allowed. Not a lot going for... More

Stayed for 1 night and wouldn't stay for longer. Dark and gloomy and definitely somewhere just to sleep then get out. The staff however were friendly and seemed to always be smiling which is nice. Didn't attend to the breakfast in the morning so I can't comment on that. However you got free wifi and there is hairdryers in the... More

My family and I stayed there for 1 night before leaving London. The customer service was great, they were friendly and accommodating. The location was close to Victoria station..about 3-4 blocks of walking, easy to get around. The room and bathroom were small, not sure if I could stay for multiple nights with that size, but they were clean. Also,... More

I booked two single rooms for my friend and I (both seniors) as we were going to the 10th Anniversary performance of Wicked and this hotel was conveniently placed for the coach station and the theatre. First of all, I have to say that the hotel was easy to find and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast (continental)... More

The twin room was tiny. It was only possible to pass from one side to the other by turning sideways between the beds and the wall. It was in a basement overlooking 2 other rooms. Hot and airless. The shower area was disgusting. See photos. Continental breakfast was in a small basement with canteen like tables. Cheap food and inadequate... More

I spent two days at the place: the staff was kind and gave me the room on the floor, after I asked. I had a nice view though, if anyone is interested in that. The rooms were clean and I felt comfortable there. When compared to other hotels of that range in London, I consider myself lucky.

I was put up here at the last minute on business. I had a room supposed to sleep 3 (double & single beds), but the space was cramped with just me and a small suitcase. The bathroom smelled badlly and there was visible mould on the tiles, whicb could be wiped off with a tissue (see photo). The carpet was... More

We stayed 1 night, had booked a double but got a triple, so no space issues. Bathroom plenty big enough. Room light & airy & clean. Comfy beds, fan in the room & windows opened to a good gap. Breakfast OK.

Chose this hotel for its great location & reasonable price. Only took us a few minutes to walk from Victoria Station and we were only around the corner from the Apollo Victoria Theatre. We also strolled to Buckingham Palace and St. James' Park, which were also fairly local. The room was fine and had everything we needed. The bathroom was... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
