My Mother and I have just completed our stay at The Pelham! The location is fantastic, busses at the door and South Kensington tube station across the road. The concierge staff were fantastic as were most of the desk staff! The beds were comfortable and in general the decor lovely however the heated towel rail was unable to be turned...

I stayed here during my first visit to London and could not have been more pleased with my decision. The hotel is conveniently situated directly opposite the South Kensington station making it the perfect location to explore. The staff were extremely helpful and the room was equipped with all the little luxuries that one would expect. The honesty bar was...

Just returned from a twelve day stay in London and a first time stay at The Pelham. Let me just say at the start of this review that this hotel is truly a jewel. Located directly across the street from the tube stop at South Kensington, the location couldn't be better for exploring London since the station serves the Piccadilly,...

Also, I called reservations before I arrived to explain Expedia had a better rate..they told me they could not match it So I booked through Expedia...

I did not stay at this hotel; I had lunch at their restaurant which doesn't seem to have its own page for reviews. The first thing to note about this restaurant is that the service was beyond excellent. Our server, Marco, was extremely helpful, friendly, and entertaining. Even if the food were terrible, we would have enjoyed ourselves because of...

We had a one night stay before returning stateside in the morning. A boutique Kensington home of your own. It really feels like your own, even if you can't afford to buy it (Who could??). The location is outrageously convenient. You are afforded every cafe, coffee shop, restaurant, and pub on your doorstep. Not to mention the South Kensington tube...

We had a great room, lovely bathroom with toiletries by Penhaligons. Food and room service were good, all the staff were courteous and customer focused. It was a peaceful, relaxing retreat from the hustle and bustle of South Kensington. Great bakery Paul across the road for breakfast. Lots of good restaurants and museums within walking distance and the tube was...

We stayed at The Pelham as we were going to the Royal Albert Hall. It is a great base for the west End. Traditional London 5* hotel where our rooms were quiet and clean. The staff were all great as should be in a 5*. We got back to the hotel quite late and loved the honesty bar in the...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
