I was pleasantly satisfied with my stay at the Cromwell. Reception was very helpful and stored my backpack while I waited for my room to be prepared. I had arrived early and they were very accommodating. I had a great room on the third floor...More
You often hear about bad London hotels with their tiny rooms and lack of facilities, but it is only when you stay in one that you realise how unpleasant they can make a stay. The Cromwell was my first experience of this kind. The hotel...More

With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
Easy to get from Heathrow. The Cromwell is just around the corner from Gloucester Road Station on the Picadilly tube Line which goes directly to Heathrow. The Cromwell is not a luxury hotel, but ok for a couple of days.
