I stayed here last Friday to watch the Champions Tennis at the Royal Albert Hall. The hotel is a short walk from Kensington tube and the bus stop. First impressions was wow! Really friendly doorman and check in very speedy. Met with smiles wherever we went. Had a twin room which was spacious and facing the road so really quiet...

Nice hotel, good location, very nice and firm bed with a very reasonable prices for London. Tube station within walking distance (three min walking), Whole Foods supermarket just around the corner, everything is very close by. The room is big enough considering for 'European size hotel' definitely no a shoe box kinda room and clean.

We attended a charity dinner at the hotel on Monday evening. We were checked in very efficiently and the room was roomy, clean and perfect. We changed for dinner and the staff at the reception looked after us very well. The three course dinner was nicely presented and served by staff who were very accommodating. The speakers after the meal were very...

Spent three nights here recently. Very handy location for Kensington High St and only a few minutes walk to a tube station. Comfortable room (standard), high standards of cleanliness all over the hotel, Asian fusion food at Bugis St Brasserie was very nice. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is in a great location and is about a 5 minute walk from Kensington High Street and the tube station, on first arrival we were greeted at reception by a young lady called Mint who was very polite and helpful, we were checked in swiftly and advised on how to find our room. We stayed in a Club...

Ok, so I paid for an upgraded room, but it was worth it While the decor was a little tired it was clean and comfortable. The club lounge was a nice addition and really not bad. The Chinese restaurant in the hotel was pretty decent. Overall a decent stay in the location I wanted to be. Certainly exceeded my expectations

Stayed for one night on business and had a club room on 12 th floor which was excellent. I like staying here because of the parking and its proximity to the tube. The breakfast is very good and caters for all nationalities .The staff and service is off a high standard and would recommend again. There are plenty of nice...

Staff was friendly, attentive and service-minded. The room (superior double) was large and comfortable, but is not much noise isolation between the rooms. Although very close to the highstreet and the underground station, this hotel is located in a quiet and nice area. The hotel is a bit old-fashioned and not particularly charming, but it really works for a comfortable...

Booked hotel on their website & joined the rewards scheme for 10% discount, which matched discount sites. Our Club room on the 11th floor was a good size, bed comfy & bathroom clean with all the amenities. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Kensington High Street Tube station, which makes it about 15 minutes from Oxford Circus. There...

Beware! Run by a Malaysian firm. Managing Director apparently speaks no english we were informed on one of our several trips to complain to the front desk. Massive queues to get in for breakfast. Hotel is only single glazed. Our first room was freezing . Moved rooms 3 times over 2 days. Nothing works as it should, broken loo seats,...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
