The rooms are fine, a little small. Location is great.....near tube and bus. About a 15 minute walk to Kensington Palace. Safe, clean neighborhood with lots of shops and restaurants. Staff is nice and helpful!

A quick escape to London toke my husband and I here. First impression should be location.. but I have to say it was the size of the room and everything about the room. Walking to the room and find out that the doors are too close to each other definitely did hurt my eyes. And when we got in the...

Back again in London and stayed at the Kensington Forum Holiday Inn. It has become our standard "go to" hotel for London. So convenient to almost all the major areas. No doubt we will be going back again next year! Great service and nice rooms.

Been there several times. A good hotel. Comfortable and clean. The service is good. Very good breakfast . I was upgraded to a better room due being a frequent customer. Good staff. The manager Alba Gomez was welcoming and took good care of my stay.

This is a basic holiday inn hotel that has all you'd expect it to. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Given IHG status I was upgraded to an executive room. This was not anything special and probably just a standard/basic room in my 'luxury' hotels. Breakfast was impossible to access with a large queue to even be seated (9:20am) so...

Stayed here for 2 nights. Service was friendly and efficient. We managed to check in at 12 which was useful. The rooms and public areas of the Hotel are clean but are now old, dated and the carpets are looking a bit shabby as is the interior paintwork. A plus point is the underground car park, and about standard rates...

The rooms are small but adequate. Ask not to be on the train side, if noise bothers you when your window is open. Tube is right around the corner along with a grocery store. Lots of restaurants in the area and a 15 min walk to Hyde park/Kensington park or Harrods in the other direction. At this location you can...

Really appreciated the choice of UK, European, and North American outlets at the desk. Great if you forget your adapter or need to charge multiple devices. Large hotel, not new but in reasonable shape although some signs of wear here and there (like minor chip in my tub), decent sized room and polite staff. Excellent location, close to museums (Natural...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
