Stayed here mid March beginning of the week. Not a bad hotel, clean and great location. All very standard wth no frills - exactly what was expected. Very busy and chaotic at reception so clearly a popular hotel. Corridors are very narrow and go on forever so can easily get lost! Paid for breakfast in the restaurant one morning which...

It's a sweet mess !! The chaos , the rooms , the guest profile , the breakfast room service !! The volume of people staying at this hotel makes it feel less than a hotel but like a backpackers or trailer park. And it is for this reason that for them it seems that they service is built to serve...

Great location! When we arrived there was renovations being done in the lobby. I couldn't imagine working reception around that all day but they handled it wonderfully. I used the YMCA a few times which was nice. £5 per use, just get a token from the machine by concierge. There is a 24 hour diner attached to the hotel, and...

It is true that the location for a vacationing couple appears perfect. However do not let the glitzy entrance fool you. The front desk people are abrupt to the point of rude. The rooms are small, uneven, bathrooms tiny and window opened to a wall. Except for the lobby, nothing has a/c. Breakfast reminded me of my college dorm days...

Left feeling really disappointed after being a guest here previously and having a fantastic service I decided to bring my Daughter and Mum for their special birthday treat. We were given the smallest room possible but we were delayed getting in so didn't make a fuss, however my mum who has just recovered from an operation struggled in the "double...

We are late putting on the review as we had several issues with ST GILES HOTEL. It has took over a month to receive a refund (which they said would take 3-5 days). I would recommend the hotel for location, but that is all Worst room I have ever stayed in.

Stayed here with my work team for one night, good location but room basic and musty. So busy with work going on in the foyer that made talking impossible. Breakfast self serve and like a youth hostel. Very noisy preventing a good night sleep. Even chaos trying to catch a lift. Pay peanuts get peanuts might be the best saying.

In an average year I stay in hotels for over 100 nights. This hotel is without any shadow of a doubt the worst I have stayed in for years. What are my complaints: 1. Check In took ten minutes because it is so busy. So busy it reminded me of a Vegas hotel reception. 2 .Room was small even by...

My room this time was incredibly noisy, woken up every time someone came up in the lift and we were half way down corridoor!, very nice large...

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
