Brilliant stay, all the staff were very friendly. Lovely welcome from Stephan on reception. Nothing was too much trouble from the extra pillow, to the staff at breakfast. Central location, easy bus routes into centre of London.

We chose the hotel purely for location, because my son was getting married at the Queen's Chapel of the Savoy; we booked in March for a December wedding. I had booked two rooms for two nights online, and one by telephone because we only needed this for one night. I received an email from the Strand Palace before arriving inviting...

We stayed here on the 3rd of December, was very excited as it was my first time in London, and this trip was a present from my parter. Was astounded by the beautiful hotel and luxury room that had been booked to celebrate my birthday! After a lovely day seeing the sights we returned to the hotel for a few...

We stayed in the hotel recently after more than two decades and it was a reminder of all the problems we experienced before. The hotel is quite big and probably seriously understaffed. Especially the front desk is struggling to cope. You can book online and everything you are used as a standard is charged as an extra cost (early check...

The location couldn't be better - was able to walk to all my meetings and events, and fit in a bit of shopping too. My room was small but comfortable and well-designed to allow plenty of storage space (though full-length hanging space would be good for those of us who wear dresses and full-length coats!). My room had a shower...

Room not ready had to wait until 15:00, crockery dirty; complementary tea pot nozzle was clogged with an old mint tea leaf., 15 minute wait in breakfast queue. Breakfast poor standard, eggs poor, mushrooms tasteless, not served with a drink - had to ask for one. Shocking for a hotel at this price.

The hotel is in the heart of London city and hence it attracts guests. The service was good. The basic rooms are really small and they just have a Single Bed and bathroom. They should have been more spacious.
