Arrived quickly - less than 10 minutes by taxi from Kings Cross station. Our room on the 3rd floor was very quiet apart from the fire door, which banged shut every time someone walked through It! It is very much an old-fashioned hotel. Our room was large and clean. We had a very comfortable night's sleep. Although the breakfast room...

I was in London for World Travel Market and decided to stay in a centrally located hotel close to shopping and entertainment area. This hotel seems reasonable at least for its location. But when I arrived it was a total shock. It was one of the slummiest buildings I've ever seen. The so called "automatic" entrance door was weird, it...

We booked the hotel as a package with theatre tickets. After eventually finding the hotel, we checked in. The woman in reception was nice and friendly. When I asked about the parking which we had read we got 20% discount at the local ncp car park, another woman told me where it was, but would not have given me a...

First, the good: The location. It's about a ten minute walk (more if you're dragging luggage during rush hour, less if you're walking quickly late in the evening) from the Oxford Circus tube stop and a slightly longer walk from Goodge St. There's a pub next door, although as far as I can tell it's almost always closed. So the...

Our twin room was clean, freshly painted and more than adequate. There was a problem with the plumbing in the bathroom but this was quickly dealt with. The location is great being only a 2 minute walk to the top of Regent Street. The staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to help. The continental breakfast was...

Some reviews slated this hotel, but for a 3 star I could not fault it. Yes the room looked a little tired and could propably have done with a lick of paint and the carpet pulling tight, but it was spotless and huge!! A passage way led to the bathroom and the bedroom which a seating area also with flat...

We stayed here for 3 nights in September 2011. The room was ok, was large enough but nothing special. The tv was small and crappy and so was the tiny closet. The bed was ok, the shower was nice. Overall a decent budget (this is London we're talking about so it's still expensive) hotel within a 5 minute walk of...

Stayed at this hotel as part of a stag weekend 19th-21st August 2011. We booked one apartment (for four) and one room to sleep four. At just over a hundred pounds each for two nights room and breakfast in the centre of London you can’t really complain. Thing is that price should give you some indication of the standard of...

I booked the Astor Court Hotel for a party of 7 people (2 x twin rooms, 1 x triple) for a hen party 1 night stay in London. I had real problems trying to find a decent hotel for our budget (£60pppn) in London. I visited a few hotels to check them out before booking, and the Astor Court was...

Although very dated this Hotel was immaculate and pleasant to stay in. Breakfast was not elaborate but adequate, the staff seemed very hardworking and eager to please. Just needs some money spent on the bathrooms etc. Would I stay again? Maybe.
