3 nights with my girlfriend. Nice welcome gift, good location with short distance to shopping etc. No problem getting taxi outside the hotel. Nice room, plenty of space. Clean enough, but not perfect. Complimentary minibar, and no hidden charges. Fire alarm two (!) nights out of three during our stay. First time we were guided to another nearby hotel. Second...

Stayed for 1 night in the Thistle Marble Arch on December 27th. On arrival, an escalator takes you up to the first floor reception area which is spacious and has separate welcome desks for a discreet check-in. The staff (Elena) were very friendly and it only took a few minutes until I got my room keys. During the check in I...

What a fabulous hotel right in the heart of london. The staff are superb friendly and efficient Prior to my visit I mentioned it was my friends 40th birthday and on arrival there was a complimentary bottle of prosecco in the room with a lovely plate decorated with happy birthday..such a special touch for a very busy hotel. Highly recommended

The reception is busy but efficient, the rooms are spotless and have great features such as the tablet and coffee machine. The beds are exceptionally comfortable. The location is great for getting around London but also extremely convenient for my office. The let down was room service, ordering on the in room tablet was great but even though the little...

I stayed here for 2 nights whilst on a business trip in London last year and it is conveniently located to the centre of London. The overall feel of the hotel is budget but on a better scale. I would say that the rooms are light and airy and the cleanliness was very good. All of the staff that I...

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
