Stayed here with my sister in a double deluxe room. At check in I requested a view of the river & we were put in Rm 836 which was perfect! I could not have imagined a better view & experience. The location was equally perfect as we were able to get to many of our destinations quickly from the Embankment...

We recently stayed at The Royal Horseguards for three nights. Overall, we enjoyed the stay. (Thanks, Mitch, for the extra attention and the delicious lemonade.) The river view deluxe king room was very spacious and had a great view of the London Eye (even from the bathroom!). It's a shame that city regulations prohibit opening windows - it would have...

A four night stay in London with my family was made so special by the hotel. Being a special occasion, there was a token gift left in the room, a personal note from the manager and the turn down service was especially welcome. The underfloor heating in the bathroom was lovely and the aspect from the room overlooking the London...

Stunning hotel. My daughter and I stayed for one night. We had travelled into London to watch matilda. I was 7 months pregnant and a bit apprehensive without my partner. We encountered James on reception and he couldn't do enough for us. He upgraded our room to enable me access to fresh air, ordered us a round of complimentary drinks...

Staying in Westminster

Neighbourhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
