lovely staff at reception, clean comfortable room and good bathroom with shower and separate bath which is so often not the case. Great location and even on street side this is a quiet area of town. The Wallace Collection is a 2 minute walk as is the Ivy Marylebone and lots of great small restaurants. Oxford street and Bond street...

Stayed at the Mandeville on three separate occasions and have thoroughly enjoyed each visit. Rooms nicely decorated and beds very comfortable. Upgraded room to have walk-in shower. Able to adjust air conditioning to suit so not too hot. Some rooms bigger than others. Very quiet. Staff friendly and helpful. Position is great only 5min walk to Oxford Street and the...

We enjoyed the location very much. Walking distance to everywhere. The rooms are comfortable but very very small. The hotel does not offer many facillities except for the bar and restaurant not too many choices of foid to eat.

If you are given room 401 don't even bother seeing it - ask to change! A superior double it is not. Barely a double room, given that there is a double bed which filled the room. Superior it's NOT. Old fashioned, musty and certainly needing a complete makeover. I would have checked out rather than spend a minute more in...

Very nice hotel that is in a great location for business and leisure travel. Room and bath were also a nice size for this area of London. The restaurant was very nice for breakfast and the bar area was great for meeting friends or business associates.

This is a value for money hotel in a perfect location in Central London, near Oxford street. Overall good service, reasonably quiet (need to remember that it's Cental London), walking distance to lots of amenities, underground nearby, decent interior/room. For 4 star hotel, the breakfast was rather average (warm dishes only at additional cost) and the heater/air conditioning in the...

I stayed at the Mandeville Hotel for almost 3 weeks in November 2016. What a fabulous experience! The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful as my initial stay was extended multiple times. The best thing about the Mandeville is the location. All types of restaurants, bars, cafes, and shops at your doorstep. Only a 7 minute walk...

A hidden gem of a hotel located behind Oxford St. Very boutique like and well maintained. The rooms were clean and well looked after. Our stay was relaxing and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. As it was my first visit, I can honestly say I will go back when I next visit London on a short break.

We spent a Saturday night at the hotel to avoid the train dash to get home after the theatre. Having stayed previously at the hotel we were looking forward to it and were not disappointed. Upgraded to a deluxe room which was beautifully furnished and very comfy bed. On our last stay we enjoyed several cocktails in the bar however...

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
