We loved the location of the hotel ,it is close to every spot in central London, perfect for shopping, wandering around, eating out etc.We liked the friendliness of the staff and the size of the room. The only problem was the bathroom door,if it could be called a door. It was a see through glass and It didn't close properly.A little more privacy...

There was nothing really wrong with this hotel, but neither was there anything splendid. The best thing about it is the location. My room, a superior, was very small, but perfectly clean and neat and tidy. It was also quiet, which given the location was a nice surprise. The worst thing about it was the bathroom. It had a translucent...

The hotel itself was nice with a friendly welcome. From the outside it's nothing special to look at. It's next to a Tesco Express on the left so easy to spot on the street. Approx 5 mins walk from Bakerloo Tube station. Inside the hotel, the seating and bar area is first thing you see, walking towards the back reveals...

My husband and I visited the restaurant on Saturday evening. We’ve dined at Sherlock’s Grill a few months ago and absolutely loved the food and the warm and friendly atmosphere. The food, wine and service was excellent once again. We realised after 10pm that we’d missed our last train back to Birmingham. Upon hearing this Fatmir, who was looking after...

Really impressed with this hotel. Very warm and welcoming staff who could not have been more helpful. Comfortable rooms with lots of light and a nice bathroom space. Plenty of hanging space too. Location is great, very close to Baker Street tube for getting around London and with a large number of restaurants in walking distance. A slightly calmer atmosphere...

We stayed at this hotel for a weekend break. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was nice, clean and spacious enough for a weekend. Breakfast was good, help yourself to cereal, fruit and cooked all presented well. The hotel is in a good position. We would return.

Booked here via booking.com excellent value for money Close to many attractions including Madame Tussaud's and Close to tube services and for the West End. Opted for the inclusive breakfast which was very good. I have stayed in many hotels in Central London and this rats as one of the best.

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
