Stayed 2 nights on a recent trip to London. Like the business lounge. Great for a quick breakfast or an alternative venue to catch up on emails outside the room. Unlike many other hotels in Central London, the room is spacious. Great location even if you are not on business as this hotel is close to the theatres and all... More

Stayed here as part of a trip to see Beautiful - The Carol King musical at the Aldwych theatre which is right next door to the hotel. Had to wait until 4pm to check in having previously booked but apart from that the hotel was very good. Great buffet breakfast and available until 11am. Great beds and pillows and very... More

The Waldorf Hilton is a great central location for exploring London. It is a busy area and the hotel is busy, but our room was quiet and comfortable. Staff were excellent -- helpful, courteous, and friendly. It was easy to access the hotel from Heathrow - just get an Oyster card, take the Piccadilly Line to Covent Garden, and walk... More

Well this is a never again experience. Organized a 7 person meeting for my global sales management team here. Many arrived to find their room not ready, despite booking a room for the day prior to their early morning transatlantic arrival. Rooms are fine especially in the context of a 100 year old property - larger than many in Europe... More

This place was a great place to stay if you wanted to be within walking distance to all the attractions. There is a lot to see within a mile in either direction. The staff was very nice, the service was great and our room was very good. The hotel is not a true Waldorf Astoria, but it's very nice with... More

I stayed there for 4 nights, i had a beautiful stay in general. The staff is helpful and the quality of the services is definitely 5 stars. It reminds me of the Waldorf Astoria NYC. I would highly recommend it and i look forward to coming back again. Thank you for such a beautiful experiece.

Very expensive for one night, very standard room and small. Tiny window which look out to a brick wall.Wanted a bath but the hot water wasn't very hot. Breakfast was ok (we ordered to our room) and when leaving the receptionist tried to charge us even though it was included in our room. Didn't find the staff overly pleasant either... More

The Waldorf Hilton exceeded our expectations. The staff was extremely attentive to all of our needs. The location was perfect, Covent Garden is such a lovely area. The underground transportation, taxis and buses were steps away. Also wonderful restaurants and theatres right next door. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Bathroom ceiling paint peeling off, indicating a lack of attention to detail, or perhaps worse a lack of concern. It makes me wonder if it is a management oversight in delaying scheduled maintainence or lacadasic employee care.

You can't fault the location but one of my most expensive one night stays and the room was very dated and poor value. Breakfast was great, contacting reception was an issue as they just didn't pick up. Overall better value available

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighbourhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
