We stayed here for three nights. Everyone we met on the staff was pleasant and helpful. We had a package to be picked up by DHL, and they took care of it for us. They arranged a taxi on the morning we left. Nothing was ever a bother, they just smiled and took care of things. We had a studio,...

There's no doubt about it. The Citadines Trafalgar Square is in a great location with only a short walk to Leicester square and Covent Garden and many other of the central London attractions. Its also only a 150 metres to Embankment station and a similar distance to Charing Cross. It is an apartment hotel and as such the rooms are...

Dear Julien786 Thank you for the posting. Yes our location is great with all you need almost on your doorstep. I am sorry though you found the apartment small, the one beds are at least 38m2 which is quiet a good size for London. I am glad the team were able to help you, but my apologies you had maintenance...

Had four nights while doing the tourist thing in London. Excellent location so close to everything where you can walk to Covent garden, Buckingham palace, Oxford street etc. and we didn't have to use the tube at all. Staff were friendly and efficient, room was just what we wanted with a kitchenette and was very quiet for what is a...

I've worked out a new formula for spending the last night in the UK and that is to pack up the day before you fly and move into central London. If you ask for an early check in and the ability to store luggage until mid afternoon the next day you can really make the most of the final days...

The reason I give the title, was just for a reference point. We earn enough to be able to take a trip like this from the states, but also expect some kind of value/service for our money. The location as many stated was everything we wanted and more. Step out the hotel and turn left: you are 2-3 min from...

This hotel was quite expensive but the rooms were clean and spacious enough. The location was perfect and enabled us to walk to many tourist attractions. Staff very friendly. Washing and drying facilities available also.

Location is amazing, you can walk to Trafalgar Square, Buckingham place is a short distance away, Covent garden just round the corner and St James's park on your doorstep so far that I am giving it a four star. You can get a range of rooms for single people, couples or families and this is more an apart-hotel. If you...

Firstly you cannot fault the location of this hotel & the reception / service areas are clean spacious and modern. Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighbourhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.

“Don't expect toiletries like in America. All that seems to be provided in Europe is one bottle of multi-purpose soap. No shampoo, conditioner, shower gel or body lotion like in America. Also, arrive at the breakfast bar when it opens at 7 am for the best selection. The croissant, which are always delicious in Europe, were all gone the one morning we arrived around 9. And croissant for breakfast in Europe is absolutely a necessity, lol!”
