I stayed here on a business travel and I have to stay that I was impressed! The decoration is modern and kind of theatrical, very cozy! The hotel was renovated 3 years ago and everything is new. The room is quite spacious while the bathroom is little small. It's very clean with good -free- wifi. However, the most impressive thing...

Hotel: We chose this hotel by its good tripadvisor ratings and it didn't disappoint us. The hotel was really nicely decorated and modern. The staff was lovely and helpful. The location of the hotel is just great: we walked two minutes to the Earl's Court underground station. Room: 404. We had a normal room for two persons, and it was...

Travelled to London for a very special occasion, my daughter was receiving her gold Duke of Edinburgh award from Prince Phillip at St James palace. Thought this hotel would make it special, think we may have been put in the room that discounted booking firms use! The room was cramped could almost touch the TV with my foot in bed!...

If "clothes maketh the man" ..then the staff make this hotel a great one. Unbelievably helpful and charming. Hotel comfortable and location excellent. Only complaint was the room was in the basement with practically no window...quite cell like...but cozy! Would recommend but not room 609....

Hotel Indigo is a modern hotel in an antique London area. The street is at the corner of a beautiful historical street lined with 5 story terraced flats. It's walking distance to some authentic pubs along with some commercial places (KFC, Starbucks etc). The best part of the location is that you're a 5 minute walk away from the Earl's...

Two minute walk from Earls Court tube. Had huge room with lovely bathroom, free mini bar and all usual amenities. Really comfortable bed and slept great. Room faced gardens across street but was very quiet. Pretty sure it won't be last visit.

It's Mid November. Checked in. Room stifling hot. Turned Aircon on full cold air. Went for dinner. Dinner in restaurant v good Italian (not cheap). Back to room; about 100 degrees. Open window. No difference. Wonder how I'm ever going to sleep. Desperate. Have propped door open which is rather desperate given I usually lock door in hotels. What with...

Dear iainsbird, We value your feedback during your recent business trip. Our goal is to consistently provide excellent guest experiences but it is unfortunate to see that this stay was not up to standards particularly with the air conditioning unit not to be working during your stay. I have sent you a private message to obtain additional details regarding your...

We stayed twice in this hotel and all i can say is wonderful. The location is perfect to get anywhere in London, the rooms are modern and large , it's clean and there is a nice italian restaurant atached to the hotel. But most of all i like the staff. They are all nice but i have to say that Petar...

Stayed here with my wife and children in 2 connected rooms in October for a weekend in London. Very nice modern rooms that have a high luxury factor. Very clean with helpful staff. The only reason that it did not get 5 stars was that I found the restaurant to a little lifeless when compared to the plush rooms. Being...

I have stayed at the hotel 3 times and each time I have really enjoyed it. Been in various rooms and all are quirky and well designed. The location is very convenient to Earls Court Station which has both District and Piccadilly lines that gives great connections throughout London. Staff are all very friendly and attentive and the late check...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
