3-night stay in excellent hotel in great location in London. Short walk to Earls Court Tube station, restaurants and pubs. Walking distance to shopping and museums. Staff were very friendly, helpful and informative. Nice features such as free WiFi, free minibar and free use of mobile phone. Very highly recommended.

This hotel is located in an excellent part of London. It is close to good eateries, train stations, walking distance to Kensington Gardens, and the like. I purchased an Oyster Card to get around. Why I gave the hotel an excellent rating: The day and evening staff are fantastic. First, this boutique hotel (100 guest rooms) provided very clean, modern...

Work away in London all week ...started staying at the Indigo couple of months ago ... really like it and it is now my 'go to' hotel (when it has availability). Lovely comfortable rooms, quality sheets, nice bathroom, clean, great convenient location near tube and M&S. Only tiny niggles are occasionally WIFI is a bit hit and miss and could...

Great hotel in a great location. Room large compared to most London city rooms. Modern bathroom. Very clean, modern decor, very friendly staff. 2 minutes from Earls Court tube station, great for arriving from Heathrow, and easy access to West End....and 30 seconds from the nearest pub!! Highly recommend.

The hotel is clean and trendy with very friendly welcoming staff. It is well situated for the underground, shops etc. My room was well appointed but rather small and due to its strange shape a little inconvenient for a tall person. The WIFI was hopeless and at times impossible to use. Breakfast had a good choice but the full English...

This is a great option for those who like modern and spacious rooms (recommend 101), a breakfast with many choices including made-to-order hot dishes. The room is equipped with bathrobe and slippers and all other amenities that allow you to travel light for the weekend. We enjoyed access to a real gym in the morning (just across the street) and...

This hotel is in the perfect location - safe, close to the underground and some great restaurants. The staff were wonderful, kind and helpful. However, we could not get the room cool enough. It wasn't warm outside, but our room was incredibly hot every evening. The staff helped us open windows and gave us a fan, but it was a...

This hotel ticks all the boxes for me: small and personal, great design in a building with history, excellent location and most importantly the friendliest and genuinely welcoming staff. Have stayed here more than 15 times and I just can't recommend it enough.

I had a fortunate occasion of staying at the Indigo Hotel in Kensington and I loved every minute of my stay! This classic building, an old Victorian house, really makes you feel London's vibe and history and has been wisely refurbished not to lose its sparkle. The neighbourhood is great, you will find nearby a metro station and lots of...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
