We stayed in this property with friends beginning of September, being my 2nd experience with serviced appartments, i would say its a very good option specially for longer than 4 days and with families. It has everything you need, including a kitchenette and a washing machine. Tube station is within a walking distance and restaurants and cafes are also close...

The location is good, and the apartments clean and well serviced with good amenities. Housekeeping excellent and the reception staff very helpful. However my stay was marred by the fact that I had paid with a credit card through bookings.com but my card was stolen and I had to show up at the hotel without the card. The receptionist was...

We needed somewhere to live for a month, at short notice, and found this hotel, with all apartments, from studio to excutive ones. Prices as can be expected in such a location but with a first class service and pleasant atmosphere. We stayed first in a one bedroom apartment, in the lower floor or basement, ok but a bit somber....

Pros: Located on beautiful street in beautiful South Kensington, the facility is located a block from the South Kensington museums (Natural History, Victoria & Albert, & Science), in between 2 tube stops (South Kensington and Glouster Street), and a short walk to Kensington Park (with Kensington Palace and the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Playground). Facility was very quiet. Décor...

130 Queens Gate is an excellent alternative to staying in a hotel in the South Kensington area (which can get very very expensive). Not only is it cheaper than a hotel, the rooms are bigger, and it has a full kitchen with washer and dryer. Nothing beats being able to travel light since you can wash your clothes yourself. It's...

I had stayed at 130 Queen's Gate many times this year and I'm truly amazed by the service of the staff, the cleanliness of the hotel, and that it is so safe and convenient. This is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed in London. I will come back and highly recommend it to others.

My stay in the Deluxe One Bedroom was great, I had everything I needed in the spacious and clean apartment and the front desk team was friendly and attentive. The location is very convenient, just minutes from South Kensington tube station and all the restaurants around it. My request for firmer pillows was instantly met and my need to extend...

I stayed at 130 Queens Gate with my two children (12 and 7) on a school holiday trip to London. The apartment was very spacious and well appointed. Anything that wasn't in the kitchen was only a phone call away. Even though the area is well serviced with restaurants I prefer to cook dinner for my kids so we can...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
