London is an expensive city to get a good hotel. While this hotel is priced like any other 4-5 star, you get a really nice apartment, with a huge Kitchen, windows that open like at home, a full sized bathroom with shower and jacuzzi tub, and plenty of hot water. Even though I'm only here 1 night on business i...

This is a great alternative to hotels. It is conveniently located near the South Kensington Underground station. Great bed. living room quite comfortable, and kitchen was great. And if you like long walks, Hyde Park is really not that far. The front desk staff was quite attentive. Found through booking.com

The location is quiet but not far froom center. Tube station is about 10 mins walk which has many restaurants and cafe. The room is big and clean. There is cleaning service everyday except Sunday. The staff is friendly. Only little inconvenience thing is that there are 3-4steps of stairs in front of the building which is quite clumsy when...

This hotel is comfortable, clean and well appointed. The desk staff is friendly and helpful. IMO, the location is excellent, but then I love South Kensington. This hotel is close to transport, restaurants, museums, Hyde Park and Imperial College. The price is very reasonable for what you get. I would stay here again.

130 Queens Gate South Kensington is about as central as you can get to not only explore London or for regular visitors to stay. We are a couple who are relatively frequent visitors to London who, in need of family accommodation, chanced on 130 Queens Gate Apartments. As a family of 6 we stayed just short of a week and...

This was our first serviced apartment experience in London with our multi generation family party. There were a few teething problems initially at check-in but are pleased to report that they were dealt with promptly. We will stay again primarily based on the excellent location, size of the apartment and cleanliness. Our party of six were very comfortable in the...

This hotel is very convenient if you are traveling with 3 to 4 friends/family. alcohol and smoking free. The apartments are huge and clean. The good thing is that the living room is far away from the bedroom which gives more privacy if someone decides to sleep earlier. Rooms are cleaned everyday except Sundays. A short walk to cafe's restaurants...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
