We stayed here as it was so close to the museums and saw the great reviews it had. It did not disappoint.

From the moment we checked in, the man at concierge was very friendly and made us feel welcome. This was the case for all the staff throughout our stay.

We stayed in the 1 bed executive which i highly recommend. The rooms are really modern and to a high standard, There even is a small balcony which overlooks Kensington.

Absolutely outstanding 5*hotel perfectly located in Central London. Helpful, friendly staff who go above and beyond to make sure you have the best time. Gorgeous building and rooms, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in.

I have stayed for a month for business reason and honestly I was very satisfied with every aspect of the hotel. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable regarding places to visit in London.
The Managers Yusef and Oomar were beyond exceptional! They were very accommodating, understanding, extremely attentive to every detail and very professional.
The hotel is very clean throughout, and my room was gorgeous, super comfortable, spacious with everything that I needed plus a large balcony with a lovely view of Queen's gate.

The hotel is quiet, and is situated near to numerous restaurants, and a main supermarket, and within easy walking distance from the Gloucester Road Underground Station.
I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel.

Thank you for everything and I am sure I will be back again!

I’m a frequent visitor to London and to the south Kensigton area in specific, and over the years I tried most of the hotels and apartments around , and to my pleasant discovery I found that 130 Queen’s gate is the best place to stay in and will be my only choice of stay when in London . Location is ridiculously ideal. Steps away from the most renowned museums in London , and its only 20 minute walk to Hyde park & Kensigton park. If your visit is medical then the apartment is only 10 min walk from the Royal Marsden Hispital and the Royal Brompton Hospital. Harrods is also a 15 minute walk away and the two underground stations South Kensigton & Gloucester are also 5 minutes away. Waitrose and Tesco are steps away and surrounded by great restaurants , pubs and variety of stores .The apartments are well maintained , clean , modern . Kitchen is well equipped and is ideal for long stays. Daily service to the apartment and is always left spotless . The reception staff are extremely helpful , friendly and caring. Managment of the facility is always available to respond to customer needs. I stayed in one bedroom apartment with my wife for 7 weeks and never had to complain at anything and our needs and requests were always met . So yes it is from now on our choice of stay whenever in London.

As many people have been experiencing in England, we had our flight cancelled and had to stay an additional 3 nights in London. We picked this service apartment as the online photos showed ample space and its location was fantastic.

The location of the property is as stated, with a large array of restaurants for every palate nearby. The other positive was the size of the room, with a large seating area and a kitchen with a washer/dryer.

Where the property falls short, is its terrible upkeep. The room was very very dirty, we found hairs on the desk chair, on the desk, and on the couch. There was a cigarette next to the bed and worse of all, myself and my kids developed a small rash/itch from the room. It was extremely dusty.

Housekeeping service is only available Mon/Wed/Fri meaning, if you arrive on Friday like we did, for a 3 night stay at 500gbp a night, you get zero HK service. We asked for a vacuum on the second day as we could not stand the dirt anymore, we were called to return it as another guest was requesting it, so it seems the cleanliness issue is rampant.

The one clear highlight is their front office, there was a fantastic gentlemen there named Virgil, who was warm, sincere, helpful and well informed.

It is a shame that a property of this sort is left in this state. Many of these issues are easily solved, but it is easy to see that management is not inspecting rooms and not present, as the unkept nature of the property is so extremely apparent.

The rooms are dated, and the technology does not function well. Wires are exposed under the TV's. This property is in dire need of an update.

I stayed at 130 gate last week with my family (2 adults and a toddler) in a 1 bedroom deluxe apartment.
Our experience of this venue was 5 star from start to finish... the staff, the location and the apartment were all excellent. We wanted somewhere close to the history museum/Kensington Park that wasn't a small room with 2 beds in it, this although not cheap was an excellent choice, with a top end finish. We stayed in room 103 which had a balcony facing the front road.
The manager Yussef was excellent and helped with parking suggestions (as outside it is permit holders only). He was also on hand for any queries and restaurant suggestions, very approachable guy and a credit to the hotel. So was Stella who also helped us when we needed info and always had a smile on her face when we passed through reception area. She had good personalised interaction with us and our toddler which was great service and we felt cared for (versus a large impersonal hotel).
I would definitely recommend this place for short or long stay visitors to London. Has several tube stations a few minutes away and buses also pass close by. There are several restaurants a few minutes walk away as well as a tesco express/waitrose. Our favourite was Fait Maison Salon de The around the corner, the most amazing breakfasts and service.
Lovely place and staff, would highly recommend.

We arrived and checked in ok then the next day the manager said he was kicking us out. He wanted photographic ID for our young children which we didn’t have , children don’t have photo I’d except passports and you don’t carry these if your staying in your home country. I was annoyed, stressed and felt like a criminal. I had proof I had 3 children who lived with me but no photos so guessing I could of left mine at glen and stole somebody else’s children!

Onto the room I don’t understand how it is a 5 star I have stayed in nicer 3 stars. The carpets were stained, the sofas were old and felt dirty and had stains on them, the glass coffee table lid was loose, dirty kitchen blinds which I’m hoping was just food on them, bathroom shower leaked all over the floor, stains over the shower curtain and massive cracks in the bathroom floor tiles, bedroom wardrobe smelly of fish so we couldn’t use it . Furniture as very old and out dated . I booked on hotels .com but they rejected my review so their customers don’t get an honest review .

Also have to pay £500-£800 deposit on check in , Incase if breakages!

My wife and I enjoyed a spacious one bedroom apartment over 3 weeks period in this modern equipped classic building. Helpful and well mannered staff with high security and 24/7 concierge services are just some among other excellent features related to this place. The central location is another amazing attraction; only minutes from Hyde park, Chelsea, Knightsbridge, Museums, 2 major underground stations, and excellent dining and grocery shops. I do mean it when I say "Nothing missing when you stay at 130 Queen's Gate apartments".

I spent about 10days here under covid restrictions and I could not have wished for a better place to stay under essential lockdown conditions. It truly is like home away from home. You get the sense that the Manager and his team were most hospitable they want to make you feel relaxed and very welcome. The flat and the whole environment was very very clean and continously kept clean throughout my stay. It felt like staying in a five star luxury hotel, but what they promise is what you get. This place is a real "find" and I always feel very welcome here. I do not hesitate to recommend to people used to a five star standard hotel.

Wonderful Family Stay at 130 Queen’s Gate!

My family and I had a fantastic stay at 130 Queen’s Gate, and it exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring our comfort throughout our visit.

The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of London, with easy access to major attractions, parks, and excellent dining options. It was so convenient for exploring the city as a family.

Our apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully furnished, with a fully equipped kitchen and cozy living area. The bedrooms were comfortable and perfect for a family, providing both privacy and a homey feel. Having the extra space made traveling with kids so much easier!

The staff was always ready to assist, whether it was providing local tips or ensuring we had everything we needed. Their attention to detail made us feel truly cared for.

We especially loved the little touches that made our stay special, like the thoughtful amenities for the kids and the overall family-friendly atmosphere.

130 Queen’s Gate is the perfect place for families looking for comfort, convenience, and exceptional service in London. We would highly recommend it and can’t wait to return for another wonderful stay!

Following a difficult AirBnB encounter I looked online and found this to be exactly what I am looking for but feared the same fate of photos looking tidier than real life . So I physically went there and was greeted by the wonderful Yusuf who could not have been more accommodating or hospitable if he tried . He has gone above and beyond to make us feel happy and well received .

He showed me around the two and the three bed flats and I have to say in reality the place looks better than the photos . The place is squeaky clean and the service provided from every staff member is excellent. I also have to single out Mahfouz (if I got the name correct ) and Thomas the bellman .

We ended up staying 10 days there and we had an incredibly good time .

I am returning again very soon .

Highly recommended for families .

How do we get here from the airport using public transportation?

I am not sure what airport you are coming from - if its Heathrow or Gatwick you can catch the Gatwick or Heathrow express train and then you could catch a Taxi - Heathrow will take you to Paddington Station and cab will be about 15mins and if Gatwick you will end up at Liverpool Street and be about 20 mins in a cab. Or with both Paddington and Liverpool you could jump on the underground and catch the tube to South Kensington or Gloucester Rd station and walk - which is about a 5 minute walk.

Yes close to shops and cafes and underground station and plenty of cabs at any time of the day. Supermarket within walking distance 5 mins. Concierge 24/7. It’s a busy area as local attractions close by - we didn’t hear any noise. All air conditioned.
