Stayed here for a day. The room looked very basic like a blank canvas, nothing of what we saw in photos. The common areas are full of character and beautiful. The main problem was the flush wasn’t working properly with us having to wait for the water tank to get filled and flush again. This is not something to expect...

Just a few minutes walk from Gloucester Road tube makes this ideal for a business location. Rooms are spacious and there is a grab and go breakfast for early risers. Ideal when you have an early start. Nice restaurant in the hotel but also lots of places to eat within a couple of minutes walk

Booked this hotel to visit a show as part of my wife's 50th birthday celebration and I'm afraid we feel let down and underwhelmed by the hotel. We booked a family room for the four of us but the room was tiny and nowhere big enough for four people or the sofa bed that had been made up. You had...

The Radisson Blue Edwardian Vanderbilt is a lovely property in central London. This original Vanderbilt home and adjacent town houses were combined nicely to create smallish, but well appointed rooms. The ambiance is wonderful. The staff is friendly and helpful, and breakfast in the on-site restaurant is delicious and convenient.

This hotel is situated in Kensington, so it's close to some really nice parks, important museums and Harrod's. The Underground is two minutes away as is the bus stop. Although this hotel lies on Cromwell Road, which is rather a busy road, the rooms are quiet. The airconditioning works without too much noise and you can darken the room very...

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, and was interesting navigating our way through the corridors all the way to our hotel room. The workout room was great, but the breakfast was a little expensive and the elevator is pretty slow. The staff is great and the location is great too, being right near the Gloucester Rosd station.

We arrived at Radisson Blu at 9a and after traveling all night, several time changes and being awake nearly 22 hrs were quite exhausted. Our room wasn't ready and we were told check in was at 3p. We were allowed to leave our luggage however and went out for breakfast and visited the Museum of Natural History several blocks away....

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
