Fining a good hotel to reflect our companies passion for customer service is hard. It needs to be in the heart of London, close to the shops, good pubs, places to eat and also have parking. The Cavendish is thee perfect hotel, its staff are excellent and the gentleman who looked after us all weekend was amazing. If you looking...

Long weekend in London for my partners birthday and we were very pleased with the standard of the hotel. Perfect location for our visit as we were mostly based around Oxford Street & Soho. The room itself was very well equipped and comfortable although perhaps a little small (navigating my way to the bathroom in the night was a little...

Well trained Reception staff, slick booking system - straight up to room upon arrival. Parking at £40 a day. Porters very professional and helpful and a nice touch the water and mints in the car for the journey home. Would certainly stay there again. Only slight blip - you have to request for slippers and dressing gowns, and at breakfast...

We always try and stay at this Hotel when visiting London. It's a great location and we are made to feel very welcome especially when reception staff recognise you from previous visits. Room is always clean and breakfast is always good and something to look forward to.

We had our anniversary here. We were welcomed by a lovely small bottle of champagne on ice and some romantic decorations. Everything was excellent. There were a few small details that were lacking. The airconditioning was on the loud side. And the shower head was full of calcium thus diverting water where it should not. One of the most welcome...

This was our second visit to The Cavendish after being so impressed having visited around this time last year. This was a special trip to celebrate my parents' 60th birthdays - they have never stayed in London but from our own experience, we knew they'd love The Cavendish. I noted the fact that it was their birthdays on the booking...

Well, what can I say? A standout hotel in the heart of London. Celebrating my birthday for a one night stay, the staff were fantastic, the room was amazing and the level of service we received was like no other hotel that I have stayed at in London, and there have been quite a few. The room was spotless, well...

This must be my 4th stay at the Cavendish. Globally i'm always happy with the service, the quality of the hotel doesn't fall and location is still a must. I would therefore add 2 or 3 things: depending on the rooms, which are already quite tiny for the classic ones, the size of the bathrooms is a joke. For £22,...

Been stopping in the major chain hotels on my frequent trips to London so thought I'd try one of the many B&B's instead. Very disappointed with this one, no complaints about the room but the place in general needed updating. Looked very tired and dated.

Staying in St. James's

Neighbourhood Profile
St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII, the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier destination for high end craft and bespoke design. Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing junction of Piccadilly Circus at its northeast corner and none of Central London too far away, this is an surprisingly central and accessible part of town, especially given its prosperous demeanor.
