overnight stay as visiting hyde park for a concert. Rooms are basic, we had booked 4 rooms. there are no stairs in the hotel so if you have luggage it could be a struggle up the narrow stairs. The room décor is very tatty and in need of redecoration. in one of our rooms the shower water was too hot...

Stayed here mid week with friends and family and between us we had 4 rooms. They were all diabolical I am so glad the weather was fab so we could sit outside the hotel front ( this was the best bit ). The single room was like a prison cell, the double mattress didn't exist was sleeping on springs, triple...

Frightening. The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It is true that the location is excellent, near the underground station, but I would rather be a bit further away and in a better hotel. In the room everything was old and worn, the floor carpet old and stained. O night table that seemed to have been found on the...

We wanted somewhere cheap to stay, in a good location for getting around London by tube. The Whiteleaf Hotel seemed to tick the boxes. However, you really do get what you pay for! We asked for 2 rooms near to each other and the receptionist (who was lovely) said we would have to be on the 3rd floor. No problem,...

I don't understand why some people are giving this hotel such awful reviews. I found the staff nothing but friendly and helpful. Maybe we receive what we put out? I had the same room on each of my two visits here, so I have no idea what the other rooms were like. I needed the lowest level room since I...

This hotel was close enough to Paddington Station to be convenient and reasonably priced. Those are its only advantages. The stairs are dangerously narrow for anyone carrying luggage, the room was shabby and not stocked with toilet tissue, and the shower had no water!! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone travelling in London. Breakfast was down yet another...

I advise strongly against staying at this hotel. It's dirty run very poorly no management about to raise any issues too. When I say it's dirty please understand what I mean I've seen cleaner pub toilets and would rather stay in one than stay here again.. It's run poorly meaning 1 member of staff on on a Saturday night booking...

Cheap hotel. Was there for 5 nights, and all they did in the room was replace the towels once. WC was malfunctioning, but they fixed that when we told them. Same with the cold water. The location was really good; close to Hyde Park, restaurants, convenience stores and relatively close to Oxford Street.

Read other reviews and was a little worried. My daughter's had booked this hotel for one night without looking. Our room was a triple room, plenty of space. Ok a coat of paint wouldn't have gone amiss. The carpet was ok,again if being picky l wouldn't have had it at home. Bathroom was clean as was the room. WARNING though...
