Pros..... Brilliant, friendly and helpful staff. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Close to Paddington station. Cons... No tea and coffee making facilities in the room as advertised. No telephone as advertised, therefore no wake up call. Have to share a hairdryer with the rest of the guests in the hotel. Toilet wouldn't flush.

Don't be fooled by the decaying building, the rooms have been renovated with modern conveniences and style. Very cozy. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Plus you can't beat the location. Bring earplugs cause the walls are paper thin.

Since I got there I saw they are in the process of renovating the hotel and this involved a lot of dust and noise. My room was dirty and it was cold because the window didn't closed properly. European breakfast was very poor and each day the same.

It was a cheap place to stay in central London just a place to rest our heads breakfast was included which wasn't bad. Had to wait outside for table spaces though, rooms just need to be upgraded and everything more modern everything was so old the beds were falling apart squeaky. There was a little box TV for entertainment, but...

On a budget and just want somewhere to sleep and wash? This hotel is perfect for you! This is exactly what me and my partner came for and we had a pleasant experience. Pro's: -The location. It's over the road from a tube stop which was very convenient and it's next to a number of fast food places and shops...

I am amazed that this hotel is under-rated. This hotel is in very super close location to Paddington train station. Very good for early birds catching trains to airport or outside London. This is the reason I picked this hotel. I stayed in a few other hotels during my trip here- Royal Norfolk is one of the best hotel so...

Check in was from 2pm onwards. However, I was told to come back for 3.30pm as the room wasn't ready. When I came back I was told the room still wasn't ready. I had a 20kg suitcase with me and was offered no help taking it up to the 4th floor, which wasn't just a straight up the stairs job...

The reason why i chose to stay here was its proximity to Paddington Station. Only a minute's walk. That is the hotel's major selling point. When i arrived, the checkin process was smooth and quick. However, there was no elevator and i had to carry my heavy luggage up. And the carpet along the corridors and staircases was in very...

On arrival the hotel didn't look too bad. Check in was quick and easy & staff very pleasant. The room: We booked what was supposed to be a superior double room we was put in to room no 104 it was small & cramped not much room to move around, the bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable to sleep on,...
