This is a perfect hotel if you like a bit of a character. It's a perfect location as it's right opposite Hyde Park. We hired Barclay's bikes in the morning and went cycling in Hyde Park for two hours which was great. Staff is really helpful and polite. The downsides - it is a little bit dated and needs updating,...

Perfectly located ( station Lancaster gate on Central line+access to many bus lines), Hyde park literally across the street, harmonious architecture, super friendly cosmopolitan staff and last but not least, beautiful roses garden where one can relax sipping a glass of white wine or having a bite after a hectic day in the city. Especially lovely during the spring, summer...

Great location close to Paddington Station and Lancaster Gate Tube station, as well as Hyde Park and Kensington Gdns. Rooms small but clean. A fair bit of traffic noise. Good breakfast. Tiny lift! Hotel perfectly ok, but could do with a make over.

Easy to find, close to Lancaster Gate Underground and bus stop outside. Hyde Park Italian Gardens just across the road. Staff friendly and very helpful. Bedroom was very clean and tidy. Bathroom was spotless and plenty of towels. After a good nights sleep we had an early start and had booked breakfast for 6.30 am which was served promptly. We...

Stayed for one night and was well enough. Breakfast was cold and double room was tiny and very out dated. Trouser press fell off the wall. The lift bearly fitted me and my partner in. Looks better from outside.

The hotel looked as lovely outside as the rooms were inside. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and helped with any queries we had. It is in very close proximity to Lancaster Gate underground. My son loved it so much his reply to the staff on check out was "See you all again soon" If I was asked to...

We stayed in the Conservatory Suite. I cannot give this hotel high enough praise. The room was perfect, the food excellent and the staff could not have been more helpful, both during the booking process, the responding to emails and whilst we stayed. ps: I proposed to my girlfreind during our stay and she said YES.

Very good location, the hotel itself is quite worn. Friendly staff, we had a deluxe double bedroom on second floor towards the street, very noisy, still managed to sleep pretty well. Stayed for 6 nights.

We had a very nice time there last weekend (3 nights), especially once we explained to the reception staff that our room was very noisy (street noise), and they immediately moved us to a nice quiet room and made sure we were happy with it. In general the people at reception were really nice and helpful and really made an...
