We needed a Convenient hotel in Mayfair without spending A FORTUNE for an Overnight Stay. We got off at Green Park Tube, had a lovely walk along the Park and we were at the hotel in no time. There are LOTS of little shops and cafés close by too. A very pleasant walk through Mayfair to Regent Street with LOTS...

Rated 4 stars due to getting good price on line, £290 for two nights B+B. Pros; Big rooms, clean, decent breakfast, great location we were facing main road but not to noisy, tesco extra and cafe Nero right opposite. Cons; Some basics missed, lots of staff around hotel all polite but not massively helpful, concierge couldn't change money for us,...

The best thing about this hotel is its location. We booked it as a central point for travelling around the town for our meetings. We had no problems during our stay. Rooms are small but that isn't much of a problem if you are able to save some commuting time. Staff was helpful and service was fine. There are some...

If you're looking for a centrally located launch pad for your London visit, this is great. However that's about it. The food is nothing to write home about nor is the hotel itself. The rooms, though neatly turned out, lack character and space. So if you're looking for functional efficiency go right ahead but if you're looking for a memorable...

I use this hotel quite a lot when I am in the West End. I popped in for a coffee and used the lounge to catch up with my emails. I had made the foolish mistake for wearing a new pair of Jeffery West shoes this day without wearing them in! I was discussing this as a throw away comment...

We were able to book a room on the day of our trip to London so the rate was very reasonable. The location is excellent, close to restaurants, bars and shopping (Oxford Street). The room was well equipped and sleep quality was excellent. We would definitely stay again.

A smooth, trouble free visit. Recommended for comfort, location and quality of service. We checked in quickly, found the room easily and were impressed by the doorbell in front of each door! Very original.

We used the hotel for a business meeting, not our usual but fancied a change! We should have stuck to our usual. The decor feels very worn, and although staff were accommodating, they certainly were trained to keep asking if we wanted anything so much so it felt uncomfortable. On leaving ( I hadn't drank my coffee as it was...

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
