My friend and I stayed for 3 nights at this hotel. We were impressed by the photos on the hotel's website. It depicted a warm welcoming and good hot. Little did we know it was all a lie. The hotel itself is old and in desperate need of a renovation. Exposed wirings in the closet and dirty vents on the...

Me and girlfriend stayed here and and left with mixed feelings. On arrival was greeted a little frosty from the reception desk as we had been travelling all day and wore casual dress attire (top, jeans, and trainers) They were very good in upgrading are room but the rom we thought was very average for the price either way. Are...

This was our first trip to London!!! The hotel is located in the Mayfair district which is very central to a lot of tourist attractions. Buckingham Palace is very close to the hotel!! The hotel is very clean and neat. The concierge, Ben, was very helpful with recommendations and helping us with anything we needed. We got the full English...

I loved this hotel. It is in a fabulous location a stones through from Piccadilly, Regents Street, Bond Street, Harrods etc. and everywhere fabulous to shop. Hard Rock Cafe is 3 mins. walk. Taxi's are easy to obtain at this location - just ask the doorman, and you have bike's across the street if you fancy getting around that way....

I will be staying there for the fourth time later this year. The location is fantastic! The staff is always very nice and helpful. The place is clean and the price is one of the best for a room in London. I come to London pretty often and this is now my regular hotel.

I have visited the Washington occasionally and regarded it as a standard, bland, corporate hotel conveniently located for meetings in central London. I was, however, pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and service when I attended a small dinner there recently with a few media colleagues. The menu was Indian with delicious but simply cooked chicken and mutton curry,...

Lovely room, there was an issue with the aircon that was sorted immediately. Great location for Hyde Park and directly opposite Green Park with a short walk to Bauckingham Palace. Great little eateries and pubs nearby, cheap full English breakfasts! Unfortunately we were on a low level and facing the street, so we're woken by loud delivery and waste collection...

very good location near Berkeley square. Staff was very friendly and the room clean, modern and spacious. Only problem was that my room was app above the loading/delivery area which meant that I was woken up early morning by the annoying beeping of trucks arriving backwards.

Really hard to run a hotel in a lucky location in London with no standards. So congratulations to operator. There was a broken window frame in our room for three days which makes the room cold and noisy. Overall conditions and price don't match.

Booked late for a room and got a decent price. Stayed here 10 years ago and the décor needs updating since then! But clean, tidy, well appointed and I always love hotels with inroom kettle and coffee making facilities! A really great location with the unbeatable Shepherd Market opposite and lots of eateries. It is a decent hotel, in need...

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
