My son and I stayed here for one night. We arrived late and there was a mix up with the room and we ended up with a small single and a small double room .We were ok with that but we were not ok with walking down to the basement for breakfast, as the lifts were not working. I suffer...

Stayed in this hotel for two nights in February 2017. Although staying on my own I booked and payed extra for a double room. The first night I was in a room G9 in the basement right next to the kitchen so it was very noisy in the morning once breakfast started. There was no hairdryer in the room so...

Arrived at the hotel an hour before we we had a reservation to eat elsewhere to be told at reception that the lifts had JUST broke down and because of that and 'problems' on the upper floors me and my 16 year old daughter would have to share a double bed despite me having booked a twin. Clearly having read...

I spent two nights here. I managed to sleep, wash and shower and eat, but it was far from being a comfortable and relaxing stay and I would not go back to the Cheshire. There is no such thing as the perfect hotel, especially at the cheaper end of the spectrum, and one accepts one or two shortcomings. With the...

My friend and I booked a twin room for one night at the Cheshire. On arrival we met a very nice man who checked us in but let us know we had a double room - no big deal as we've been friends since kids. We were then informed that we were on the third floor and that unfortunately the...

Nice and clean. Free wifi. Breakfast not included. The location is perfect. The lift was in vain but they proposed to bring the luggage up to the bedroom. The employee at the welcome desk was very kind and explained how to go to my meeing and gave a nap. Great service.

My wife and I stayed here for 1 night last weekend. It is by far the worst hotel room I have ever seen. After being given our key we were told we were on the 4th floor and the lifts were not working. I am waiting for a hip replacement but thought I would benefit from a traipse up the...

Terrible hotel, really just don't bother, scalding water from the shower, banging on the roof all night long, both lifts broken, dirty, really not worth the money. Complaining to reception about the shower and get the response that they are aware that it is broken.

Very convenient for tube, Theatre was only 7 mins walk away and found lovely Italian Restaurant to dine in close buy, We arrived before check in and were able to leave...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
