We stayed at The Montague years ago and returned because it was so lovely and comfortable, in addition to a great location for us. This time exceeded our expectations, from dinner at the Blue Bistro, afternoon tea, and drinks in the Leopard Bar (with a great jazz trio) to our room (upgraded for us to a suite at no additional...

A brilliant hotel with great levels of customer service. The hotel is near Russell Square tube, but it is within ten mins of Euston station and 10 mins the theatre area. The room was spotless, a big bathroom and great finishing touches such as biscuits hand delivered to the room. The room was very quiet, no road noise at all....

I have stayed in a number of London hotels but this is the first time I have felt like a guest rather than a customer. All the staff were helpful and friendly, they made you believe you were important. The location is in a quiet oasis surrounded by bustling London. It is however convenient for public transport.

My daughter and I were guests last September. The hotel is so charming and the staff is so accommodating! It was a joy to come back to our hotel every evening - we did not want to leave! Close to the tube and lovely Russell Square.

We visited late November for a 1 week stay. It was a trip for my husbands birthday. They gave him a birthday card signed by the staff. We were surprised each night with little gifts with turndown service. Everything and everyone was amazing. The staff was super accommodating and friendly. The concierge gave great advice on places to see and...

We really enjoyed our stay here. It's a short walk to several underground stations, restaurants and shops. You could actually walk to some of the most popular tourist attractions if you put on some comfortable walking shoes. The British museum is just around the corner. We ate breakfast at the hotel restaurant every morning. The price was about 20£ and...

I've wanted to stay at this hotel for some years, so it was a real treat to go for my birthday. The hotel, the setting and service were amazing from the moment you arrived. The cocktails and dinner were delicious and the room was spacious with real attention to detail. I've stayed in many hotels and this small but perfect...

This hotel is very traditional in its decor, so don't expect anything too modern. It's like stepping into the early 1900's in London. The rooms are also traditional, which means very small, but they changed us into a bigger room right away (ask for a room on the first floor!) and it was perfect. The staff are all very friendly...
