Its not exactly centre of london, but very close to underground subways. Housekeeping staff is professional. Bed and showers are very comfortable. There was a minor issue with the toilet, but then we changed room, and its all great form then on. WIFI was fast and reliable.

Spent three nights at Arbor city hotel and we are very pleased with our stay! The hotel's standard is high and the rooms are comfy. The rooms match the pictures: clean, modern and relatively spacious. We had a room with city view, which was nice! A big plus is the proximity to the underground station Aldgate East that will take...

Stayed here two nights for some days in London, and wow, we sure did love it. This hotel is a quirky gem with a good location. The room was big and modern. Wifi was good, the shower was amazing. Could stand there for hours. When we arrived the room was insanely warm but the a/c made it cool down quick....

A very long weekend was planned and this hotel was booked in anticipation. We were not let down. Very cool place, great staff and very nice rooms. I had asked on booking if there were "quiet" rooms - this is central London after all - and we were put into just such a one, so 10/10. A lovely continental selection...

The location is perfect, just around the corner from Aldgate East tube station and buses. The hotel is modern with the usual mod cons. In my first room, a single, the A/C was not working at all, so the toom was hot and stuffy. Luckily it had two windows that let in some air. After two nights with little sleep...

Great location at the bottom of Brick Lane nr Aldgate East station. The prices on the website represent great value - you get a nicely decorated, decent-sized bedroom and a nice bathroom with a decent shower. Loads and loads of places to eat within a few minutes' walk - Brick Lane is famous for curries but there's also a good...

The rooms were amazing and a really spacious for a city Hotel. Nespresso coffee machine and mini fridge was a great touch. Our view of the city scape including the Gherkin was breathtaking. This place is great! Lovely location, amenities, price, and staff. Brick lane is a unique part of London but can access everything giving its central location with easy access to the Underground. Depending on the day of the week, the area can actually be fairly quiet or bustling. Great food at Efes next door. We will be back!

Our room was well organized, comfortable, clean and with a view of skyline of the City. In the night the view of skyscrapers is something of "magic". The staff of the Hotel has a professional approach and is customer oriented. Algate East underground station is very near.

Staying in Whitechapel

Neighbourhood Profile
Whitechapel
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
