Stayed for 1 night late Feb 23, while visiting the capital for a Cirque du soleil performance at The Royal Albert Hall. Very well located and a mere 5 min walk to high street where other bars and shops are located. Nearest tube is Bayswater about 7 mins walk but Notting Hill Gate is only a short 15 walk if Bayswater is closed
Room booked 2 weeks before stay with 10% discount £184. The Haydon has a bar which is very cool and atmospheric. You can access the rooms from inside the bar and via a seperate entrance with steps down from the street Rooms are very clean and well decorated. A few design issues with closeness of sink to shower in ensure makes it tricky to move about but is also clean and lovely decorated. The details are well thought about and included a mini fridge with water and small bar of chocolate, great selection of tea, a coffee maker. Robes and slippers, hairdryer and USB Slots in plug sockets by the bedside If you can't do stairs this won't be for you we had 3 flights I think for the room at the top and they seem to go on forever (didn't see that info when booking but may have missed it) Overall a solid 4 star and a place I would defo stay again
We stayed for Sunday lunch the next day which is served in the bar - this sadly was disappointing. Food quality didn't match the price and I wouldn't recommend 3 star only for food
The biggest win for this place are the staff. Great service.. Friendly and go the extra mile!

We had a wonderful stay at the Hayden! The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable! The staff were very helpful, offering to hold our luggage since we had arrived early, and offered a free drink while we waited for the room to be cleaned. The shower was great but we did have some trouble figuring out how the various knobs worked so a quick guide would be helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

I summarized the experience of the boutique Hotel The Hayden by underlining, first of all, the excellent quality/price ratio, the refinement of the details of the room (large and very beautiful for London) and a pleasant and lively area. The location, adjacent to the beautiful Notting Hill district, can be reached by metro and bus (bus stop 100 meters away). True, I would advise those who prefer to leave the house and find themselves in Piccadilly to think about it for a moment, however I would like to highlight the fact that you can easily get there in just 7 minutes from Paddington tube! With a plus, in my opinion: Notting Hill is decidedly more romantic. Then it's a matter of taste. I adored her. Finally, the excellent cleanliness of the bedroom (hyper-comfortable bed!), the very kind staff and the excellent dishes in the pub under the hotel make me write this review and suggest this delightful little hotel.

Super hotel, best stay over in London for a long time. Easy to find, 0.3 miles from both Bayswater and Royal Oak Tubes which we used. Staff super friendly, welcoming and courteous. Room... amazing, super lush. Bathroom a little cosy but amazing shower. Goodies in the bathroom, slippers in the closet. There was a fridge with water and chocolate in on our arrival, which when we came back the next day had more water and a bottle of milk! Safe in room with hair dryer and dressing gown. Coffee machine with pods, teas, coffees etc with biscuits, cereal bar and a packet of crisps, brilliant after a long delayed train ride! Room was ready early so we could drop bags and go out straight away and they stored our bags when we checked out 2 days later. Absolutely fabulous. I would just say if you are not too mobile ask for a lower room, we were on the top floor and there are a few sets of stairs to climb, especially if you come in after the bar closes as you go down the side of the hotel and up again. Gets your steps in! Saying that the room, atmosphere and super luxury of this hotel is worth it. They give you discount when eating there too. Cocktails are fabulous! We will be going again next time we go to London. We stayed 3 days/2 nights and did The Sherlock Holmes Escape Room at Shepherds Bush, Mary Poppins show, Portobello Road and Notting Hill, Hyde Park BST Concert, Platform 9 3\4 and Madame Tussauds 😀

We have stayed in many hotels, but there haven’t been many as warm and welcoming. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and offered a drink. Duarte who is the manager went above and beyond throughout our stay to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. All of the staff were friendly and very helpful. Our room was very special. It was 2 levels with the bed on the bottom level and the bathroom and sitting area on the loft level. There were chips, cookies and chocolates daily as well as bottled water, coffee and tea in our room. The heated towel rack in the bathroom was a nice touch. The pub downstairs is amazing. The food is absolutely delicious and the bar is complete with anything you would want plus local beers and hard ciders. I highly recommend the Hayden for your stay in London. It’s not far from the Bayswater tube stop.

Amazing place to stay when visiting London with the added bonus of a fantastic pub and restaurant. The staff are excellent and always attentive and the food is excellent and very reasonably priced. The rooms are upstairs from the pub and you absolutely can not hear any noise from the pub, even at 8pm on a Saturday night. You can however hear the kitchen from 5;30 am until 10;30-11;00pm if you are in room 1 which is a shame, as room 1 is fantastic. Just the early morning and late night banging from downstairs that can be heard. As a light sleeper it affected me, but maybe not others. Even still, an outstanding hotel and pub well worth staying at. Highly recommended.

My favorite place to stay in London. Perfect location, quiet yet plentiful restaurants, cafes and shopping when you walk out the door. Rooms are spotless and beautifully decorated. They are small, which is not unusual in London, but each room is unique and I've stayed in one with a gigantic bathroom, another with a sitting room loft, and a regular one on the top floor. There is no elevator but they are happy to help with luggage. The manager and all the employees we interacted with with friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable and stress-free stay. Can't recommend more highly! And the restaurant is a bonus, with a good brunch.

I stayed in the Rooms for nine days, a solo female from USA, on my vacation. I felt very safe. The clientele is of upper class and it is not a rowdy pub where people hang out and drink all night The staff were very attentive to all my needs. The room was extremely clean, the bed was comfortable and I was able to control the temperature. There isn’t an elevator, but the stairs are manageable. Many other restaurants and shops close by. The food and drinks at the pub was delicious. I would absolutely stay again. The chocolate bars, granola bar, cookies, and fresh bottled waters were a sweet plus. Highly recommend.

The food was lovely but unfortunately they do not cater to substitutes if asked, my friend asked for fried egg on toast instead of scrambled but was told they do not do fried egg (it was on the menu for another meal) . They also charged my friend £16 for scrambled egg on toast and a hot drink, when worked out it should have come to £12. On the otherhand my pancakes were delicious and the bacon was cooked perfectly for me, but overall our experience could have been better.

What a wonderful choice we made to stay at The Hayden Pub & Rooms! We were greeted by staff who were eager to please. Throughout our stay they seemed to take hospitality toward us personally. We enjoy the boutique style accommodations offered in historic European cities. Our particular room was somewhat small but very well appointed, including some surprise amenities! Everything was clean and updated, the bed was comfortable and the bath/shower was nice. We were greeted with drinks from the pub on arrival while our heavy bags were being carried up. We were only able to stay in London for two nights, but found the location to be wonderfully situated within 2 miles of many royal and historic sights. A stroll through Hyde Park is just around the corner, as well as a walk by Kensington Palace. We enjoyed a lunch and a dinner at the pub, and both were delicious with stellar service. It goes without saying, we highly recommend a stay at the Hayden, any can’t brag on the staff enough.
