I arrived with my Trivago booking reference document to be told I had no booking. I was then offered a room for cash. Even that room apparently had no TV because it had been smashed up. The lobby was filthy. I cannot express enough - DO NOT STAY HERE!

Had a great stay at 159 Knightsbridge. Booked the hotel very last minute, same day, evening time actually. The location is absolutely perfect. Right next door to Bvglari hotel, two doors down from Buddha Bar, and Mr Chow. Within 2-3minute walk to Harrods and Harvey Nics. Couldnt ask for a better location The staff is very accomodating and friendly. I...

Stayed here as a friend had booked it and hadn't done any research, big mistake.....Dirty reception area, check in was ok and seemed polite. Lift to the rooms were old style with concertina doors, not at all pleasant, at 5pm housekeeping hadn't picked up breakfast dishes from the hallway. Room was on the fifth floor with very basic bathroom. Fairly...

Disgusting room from the dirty linen with numerous hairs (suspect the pillows at least had not been changed from the previous Guest) mould ridden Bathroom, grotty carpet (the kind where you keep your socks on!) and smashed Bedroom window. I did not feel comfortable nor safe in this dire 'Hotel' which I would strongly recommend avoiding at every cost. The...

Possibly the worst hotel stay ever and at a dear price! Awfully expensive while a real cheap hotel. Heating system did not work. They try to make up for the pitiful room by loading the fridge with water and carbonated drinks and a table with bowls of sweets and biscuits. Personnel barely spoke English and one of the people coming...

For the price, you really couldn't ask much but the hotel far exceeded my expectations. Reception was warm and helpful. The lift and windows though dated, added a charming touch to the hotel (in my opinion). It was fun to use, despite of its cap of 3 pax. Room was cosy with complimentary sodas and chocolates. Wallpapers could do with...

Location is superb but apart from this it is in serious need of an update in reception and the lift is a scary experience. Have to pay with cash only - no card machine available. Breakfast is served in the room as no dining area. You have a selection to chose from and a specified time. When breakfast did arrive...

What a lovely friendly hotel. The staff couldn't have been nicer. Room was clean and well stocked with drinks and snacks, all for free. This hotel was so well priced. Location was perfect for winter wonderland, Harrods, Harvey Nichols and tube station and there's even a pub right next door. We would definitely stay here again and look forward to...

Staying in Knightsbridge

Neighbourhood Profile
When millions of tourists want to shop 'til they drop, they do it along Brompton Road and its boutique-lined tributaries, including the world-renowned Harrods. And when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion walls or down quiet private mews. Delve beyond the ultra-luxe exterior and you'll find some of this city's cosiest pubs, quiet gardens, and all sorts of indie retailers and enterprises worth a short exercise in spontaneous window shopping. For those looking to take a break from shopping, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and some of the city's most popular museums are nearby.

One of the few remaining independent, boutique hotels, traditional in style in a historically important Victorian building which dates back to 1890. The Knightsbridge Green Hotel is perfectly located in exclusive Knightsbridge, with Harrods, Harvey Nichols and other exceptional shopping, plus The Royal Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens on the doorstep.
