Firstly the area which the hotel is located is very quiet. When you enter the lobby you do not get the impression of a 5 star hotel, however we were very satisfied with the room. plenty of space very clean and with excellent service. Room 302 was excellent with a garden view. Beds were very comfortable as well.

High luxury, modern and beautifully appointed rooms, outstanding service. Couldn't really ask for more in a true five star hotel, secluded but convenient location. Attention to detail is excellent, highly recommend for business or holiday trip.

As a regular traveller I have a list of favourite hotels in many cities across the globe - you just don't think about staying in any others. However, for London I have been searching and searching for a 'home' - trying various areas, price ranges and styles. With the stay at The Halkin, my search is over. My first bit...

The Halkin was the best little boutique hotel in London. It was close to everything and a hop and a skip away from the METRO where the world was your oyster. The staff got to know you, was so pleasant, and continuously accommodating. Each time we returned from a day out, they would greet us, want to know about our...

I usually stay at the Lowndes Hotel which is not far from this hotel. I like this area of London since you are within walking distance of most of Central London. The hotels are in the same price range so I thought I would try this hotel for a change. The hotel is a small boutique hotel (41 rooms) that...

The Halkin is on a very quiet street that is nonetheless central to just about anything a visitor might want to do in London. The hotel and restaurant staff are just about telepathic in their service. The rooms are modern and extremely well-kept. My wife and I had some odd requests and were accommodated immediately. I can honestly say I've...

We had afternoon tea on a Red Letter deal courtesy of our daughter. A very swish hotel close to Buckingham Palace. Staff were excellent and the food - a selection of dishes tapas style equally good. Washed down with a glass of cava and ...of course tea. A pleasant experience. We had 2 extra glasses of cava at a cost...

The most notable thing about our stay at The Halkin was the impeccable service - warm, welcoming and efficient. Our room was a recently renovated junior suite. It was spacious and well appointed. Bathroom was also large and included separate shower and soaking tub. The location, south of Hyde Park, is very quite and a couple of blocks from shopping,...

Belgravia
Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.
