This boutique hotel has such a good location in a leafy quiet side street close to Harrods - wonderful for a shopping spree and nearby restaurants all within walking distance. Very friendly helpful staff & the complimentary bar is such a nice idea situated in the reception/drawing room looking out onto Beaufort Gardens. The bedroom was a little on the...

Despite superb location and helpful front office, this hotel needs improvements on several things: 1) Guestroom needs renovation. Interior (Bedsheet, furniture, flooring is old). Dimmed lights in bedroom and bathroom broken. Like most luxurious hotel, bathroom needs heating system installed. The hot towel hanger in the bathroom not working. 2) Breakfast and afternoon tea is not of good quality. Fruit...

Have just spent three nights here - our third visit. As always, it's just a delight - a wonderful location, yet on a quiet street. It's so gentle! - cool design, charming and helpful staff, calm environment. The little complimentary extras (drinks, teas etc,) are simply a treat. I'll always stay here!

My brand new credit card had not yet been auhtorized, so as a regular customer, I agreed at the check-in with the first desk clerk on a cash payment. Coming back 3 hours later, another desk clerk demanded an instant cash payment. I am not getting into details, but her behaviour was absolutely disgusting. I chose not to check out,...

We are sorry if you felt we upset you during your last stay with us. It is normal procedure amongst hotels to ask for a cash payment if valid credit card details cannot be provided upon check in. As you could not provide us with a valid credit card, you agreed with our receptionist to go to the bank and...

We booked a standard room, a little on the small side, but very thing was so perfect it was no worry. We stayed one night on a last-minute internet deal. The location is excellent, in a very quiet little cul-de-sac off the Brompton Road a minute from Harrods and a few minutes to the Kensington museums. The double room was small, with just enough room for two arm chairs and a low table (as well the the bed of course): the...

Staying in Knightsbridge

Neighbourhood Profile
Knightsbridge
When millions of tourists want to shop 'til they drop, they do it along Brompton Road and its boutique-lined tributaries, including the world-renowned Harrods. And when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion walls or down quiet private mews.
