Rooms are named. We stayed at Ashcroft. Faces the garden with a balcony (tiny), in central London! Even with balcony doors open, we can barely hear any city noise! Room decor is very much evocative of early/mid 20th century (could be older, not really an expert) with very modern bathrooms and electrical fittings. Once suggestion, adding a few USB power...

It is the second time a stay at this wonderful hotel. It is so wonderfull, old hotel with a lot of stairs and angels, but very nice held up to date. We stayed over Christmas and the Hotel was so lovely decorated. Nice tradition with afternoon tea and drink at 6 PM.

This is an excellent property with a genuine focus on exceeding client expectations. Attention to detail and friendly staff make this our home away from home. Location is perfect for shopping, dining, walking, sightseeing, theatre - in short, everything London has to offer.

We stayed one night in Room named Rattigan and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is incredible, so close to Sloane Square, Peter Jones and all the other shops, restaurant on Kings Road, yet off the main road so it is very nice and quiet. The staff are very welcoming and helpful.

The Draycott is a superb boutique hotel located perfectly near Sloane Square, not far from Harrods and central London. Be sure to try the hot chocolate at 9pm and put your order in for a room with a fireplace!

Dear D1736NOdeborahh Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback on Trip Advisor. I'm delighted you had a pleasant stay and were able to join us for hot chocolate in the drawing room one evening. The Draycott came highly recommended to us but we resisted for years preferring to stay in Mayfair which we considered a more "walkable" location. Twenty minutes into our stay we became Draycott devotees. Located a block off Sloane Square and 2 blocks from a Tube station makes this a very easy location to get to just about anywhere quickly. Our stay at the Draycott in September was amazing...perfect location, comfortable and spacious room, staff helpful and friendly. We loved late afternoon teas and evening hot chocolate...always met a few very interesting hotel guests. My husband originally from England so we've stayed at many London hotels through the years. Dear Maria Jose M Thank you for your feedback. I am pleased you had a comfortable and restful stay with us. Staying in Chelsea

Neighbourhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
